Richard hadn't been able to sleep well since the incident in Paris. Diego's report on Mikko's actions lingered in his mind, filling it with doubts. Did they really know Mikko? The speed and coldness with which he had shot the saboteur seemed unsettling. Lost in his thoughts, Richard tried to piece things together, but he always ended up with more questions than answers.
Almost at dawn, his phone rang, abruptly pulling him out of his reverie. It was one of the technicians from the monitoring room, his voice urgent. "Richard, there's a new disturbance in the timeline. You need to come to the Ministry immediately." Without wasting a second, Richard got ready, knowing that this could be the opportunity he needed to investigate Mikko more thoroughly. He wondered if there was a connection between Mikko and the recent events that seemed to emerge without explanation.
Upon arriving at the Ministry, Richard went straight to the monitoring room, where the screens displayed temporal anomalies at various points in history. While assessing the situation, he couldn't stop thinking about Mikko. Determined, he began to review Mikko's records and history, looking for any clue that could shed light on his true identity and intentions. Deep down, he feared that Mikko might be linked in some way to the temporal disturbances that had started to appear suddenly. The truth, he thought, had to come to light before it was too late

She is most likely coming out of the hospital seeing a patient. During this pandemic visiting patients is a serious challenge. The fear of getting infected is always there. Very limited number of beds at odds with huge number of patients that’s increasing every day. Hope this terrible situation passes soon.

Candid eye contact street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I loved the definition and shape of this guy's worry lines. As it started raining it seemed that everyone was wearing them too.
There is something special for me in capturing that instantaneous moment of eye contact. The raw emotion and a glimpse into the soul that no eye contact, or a posed shot, can rarely achieve.

The Swiss alps in a late September light...
...which shone so intensely that afternoon. The colors of the landscape are already wearing the guise of autumn. The view was as clear as an October morning. Standing there and marveling at this spectacle of light can hardly be compared to anything else. Many thanks dear friends for all the beautiful words on Part 1. I hope you like the second part as well. My first Fuji camera was here in action.This picture is already a few years old and I still chose it because the atmosphere was really unique for me that day and also because my oldest Son advised me to choose this one. I had another one to choose from showing the morning light over the mountains and lake, but for us this one is the right for now. (Maybe I'll post the other one at a later date.)
For both of us, this mountain lake is one of the most beautiful places in our country and we would like to visit it many more times, as long as I have the strength to do so. By the way, this is the high-altitude hike that leads around the lake high up. The mountains in the background are over 3600m high and the lake is at about 1500m over sea level. Here you see a rock face of more than 2000m height. It is sometimes not so safe to hike at this height and so close to the abyss, but it is incredibly beautiful, especially on a day like this when the mountain tops are covered with fresh snow. Thank you for reading my story to the picture and all time you give my little work. It means so much to me and every single word is so appreciated my dear friends.
...yes, I'm coming home to my beloved mountains. It's a part of me and I can't live without theme. I love nature so much. It's something deep in my heart.
Humble and uplifting at the same time, hardly anything in nature inspires as much awe as the sight of mountains.
Climb the mountains and feel the good energy. Peace in nature will flow into you like the sunshine that nourishes the trees. The wind will refresh you, the storm will fill you with power, and all your cares will fall away from you, like autumn leaves.
Hiking is the most perfect way to get around if you want to discover real life. It's the way to freedom.

After some rich colour I am back to my favourite black and whites for some much needed serenity.
It’s been a strange week. I read about some incredible initiatives for protecting and conserving elephants earlier in the week but then I read about the Dallas Safari Club. Don’t know if you guys know this but they were auctioning off an actual ‘hunt’ of an African bull elephant to raise money for conservation purposes. I can’t even get through that sentence without making my blood boil. Not only is the idea of hunting critically endangered ideas for sport baffling, the fact that it is done in the name of conservation is just sad.
Trophy hunting is not new to people of such elite and entitled clubs. The club’s CEO in fact said there are some parts of Africa which are ‘over populated’ with elephants and their efforts would in fact benefit ‘such’ areas. And this is a long standing tradition, last year they auctioned a hunt for a black rhino in Namibia for a whopping $350,000 and even made it clear than if the government doesn’t allow them to bring the carcass back to the USA, they would not donate the money for conservation! What does this tell us? Their claims of working for conservation is nothing but a farce and these poor animals are worth more dead than alive, adorning some rich hunters’ wall while he regales his guests with tales of his hunt.
Due to intense public pressure the elephant hunt has been called off for the time being. But there are other similar trophy hunting clubs out there. And we have an obligation to stop them where we can. These are worrying times for our rhinos and elephants and there is absolutely no place for trophy hunting, irrespective of how much money misguided hunters are ready to pay for their adventures in the wild.
