Canadian National local train No. 513 passes a mountain lake at Henry House, Alberta, at 8:29 p.m. on July 11, 2014. The Hinton to Jasper (and return) local is powered by vintage pair of aging GMD’s—SD40-2W No. 5246 and SD40u No. 6011 —battle-worn, but still hauling plenty of tonnage on CN’s main line through scenic Jasper National Park.

This is my leather ‘belt for life’. Pretty sure I bought it from either Rhodes or Crete around 30 years ago and I’ve barely worn another since. At macro level it looks like it’s ready for the bin but as the title suggests it’s got a few more years in it yet!

Nah, not yet.
It's the edge of a pocket on a pair of my old blue jeans. I wouldn't wear them in public, but they're comfy, and they're still fine for wearing around the house. That way, I don't wear out my good jeans any faster than I have to; blue jeans don't last as long as they used to. The stitching is usually fine, as you see here, but the fabric develops holes...

The owner told me this barn was built in the early 60's - it shows its wear - but still a cozy home for the cattle! Used some textures and played with saturation.

The path to Halnaker Windmill in West Sussex is arguably one of the prettiest tree tunnels in the world. This tree tunnel is called Mill Lane. It’s a public footpath in Halnaker, a hamlet a few miles north of Chichester in West Sussex, United Kingdom. At Frederiksborg castle most things are kept in really good condition, but there are some areas that seem to need a bit more love and care.
Frederiksborg Castle (Danish: Frederiksborg Slot) is a royal castle built in a northern Renaissance style, for the Danish king Christian IV. The main building of the castle was built 1602-1620 (replacing an older structure). For a long time it served as a royal residence, but it was almost completely destroyed in a fire 1859 (which spared only the chapel and audience chamber). The castle was restored, using old plans and drawings to give it its proper look - with generous donations made by J.C. Jabosen (who made a fortune founding the Carlsberg brewery), to turn it into a National Museum, which it still is to this day.

The remembrance poppy is an artificial flower that has been used since 1921 to commemorate military personnel who have died in war, and represents a common or field poppy, Papaver rhoeas. Inspired by the World War I poem "In Flanders Fields", and promoted by Moina Michael, they were first adopted by the American Legion to commemorate American soldiers killed in that war. They were then adopted by military veterans' groups in parts of the British Empire.
Today, they are mostly used in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, to commemorate their servicemen and women killed in all conflicts. There, small artificial poppies are often worn on clothing leading up to Remembrance Day/Armistice Day. Poppy wreaths are often laid at war memorials. In Australia and New Zealand, they are also worn on Anzac Day.
Wherever crows are, there is magic. They are symbols of creation and spiritual strength. They remind us to look for opportunities to create and manifest the magic of life. They are messengers calling to us about the creation and magic that is alive within our world everyday and available to us.

Abandoned house that appears to have undergone a few different attempts at renovation.Now it's just worn out,blind,and dead....
We had sunshine again today and Cleo left the house for the first time in months, if only for 15 minutes. It seems that she had an overdose of fresh air because after her short garden excursion she dropped into her cat bed and slept the rest of the afternoon.
I found this one so difficult! Had to use the remote shooting which I have only done a few times.

I love the rock at the bottom of the falls. It's been worn down over the years and has little channels like small canyons carved through it's top. In some ways, it's a microcosm of the Sipsey itself.
This is the first waterfall you come to from the upper parking lot at the Sipsey Recreation area. It's about 200-300 yards on the right.
~I got the new Lelutka head Ora, i have worn Avalon over a year now and was looking for an update, my brother chris shot this he was helping me with his opnion with my editing on the shape, I still need to do some editing but I'm happy with it so far, i did do a very light edit on this... the new head is at the INITHIUM event
