This is a photo of a co-worker's mother - I think he said it was around 1942. She died a few months back and some of his colleagues asked me to restore this photo. I thought it would look nice colored. Hadn't messed much with coloring digital photos, so it was a real learning experience.

Walmart employees picket outside of the Walmart store on Crenshaw Blvd in Los Angeles California on Black Friday November 29, 2013. The employees accuse Walmart of continued unlawful retaliation against workers who speak out for change at the company. Some of the striking workers say that when they have come forward to call on Walmart to address issues with scheduling, wages, benefits and above all else, respect in the work place, Walmart has reacted by retaliating against them.

Stone collectors and crushers. Stones are dredged from Dholai river in the north-eastern part of Bangladesh. It is a massive stone production center with strings of small companies operating in the area devoid of monopoly by any one company. The stones are then used for constructions in every part of Bangladesh. The day laborers here gets less than 2USD per day, so some workers had their whole family, including their young children to work here to dig up or crush stones.
