A railroad worker, with graceful form in the spirit of Marilyn Monroe, guides the locomotive engineer during coupling operations at Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok, Thailand.

Bleu.
Blanc.
Nuit.
Europe, Portugal, Algarve, Sotaveno, Tavira, Rua de S Pedro, Industry building, Deconstruction, Worker, Blow torch (slightly cut from all sides)
A former modernist industry building where metal and aluminium frames for windows, facades and doors were constructed is being deconstructed. A worker is using a blowtorch to remove the metal support structure of the roof.
Two other captures of the demolition scene are here and here.
'Squeezing out sparks' is a pivotal album of Graham Parker and the Rumour. Together with the American and UK punk albums it turned out to be the way out of the stagnation and complacency of rock music of the 2nd half of the 70s (think symphonic and prog rock).
The soundtrack: Graham Parker-Mercury poisining, a track from the Squeezing out sparks album. A life version (35 years later) is here.
This is number 91 of the Gloriously dilapidated album and 93 of Tavira.

A worker carries baskets of salt on her bamboo pole at sunrise. The Hon Khoi Salt Fields in Nha Trang is one of the largest salt fields in central Vietnam. Sea water is pumped into these fields and allowed to evaporate leaving salt crystals behind. The men then rake and collect the salt into pyramidal heaps, while the women carry the salt to be processed on their bamboo poles.
There are many plantation workers on the cameron highlands, most arriving from overseas, mainly from places like nepal. Working the plantations can be risky, with snake bites a major concern.
Ho già caricato altre foto dei Cavatori di Zolfo del Kawaijen ma ogni volta che rivedo le foto e ricordo gli odori e la fatica.....
Beh questo è un piccolissimo tributo.....
The Bee:
In the 1800s Manchester was awash with textile mills that were commonly described as ‘hives of activity’ and the workers inside them compared to bees. From there the worker Bee became the symbol of Manchester. There are many references to the Bee thought-out the City Centre.
The Metrolink:
The tram in the picture has stopped at the St Peter's Square tram station. The Metrolink opened on 27 April 1992 and is in the City Zone of Greater Manchester's Metrolink light rail system. The stop's platforms were extended in 2009. Later redevelopment in 2015–16 demolished the original two platforms and replaced them with a four-platform interchange.
Rain:
Well that speaks for itself; Manchester is known the world over as a rainy city.
The image is straight although it doesn’t look it….
Workers’ houses from XIX century.
Karol Scheibler (1820 - 1881) was one the first industrialists who, apart from financial gains, cared for the living conditions of his workers. Thanks to him, Księży Młyn was built, which was the largest workers’ settlement in Lodz, a “city inside a city” including hospitals, fire station, a later also a power plant, gasworks and churches of different denominations.

It is the second largest in the world, after Mecca in Saudi Arabia; and its quadrangular minaret, with green tiles that reaches 200 meters... It took 8 years to build and 12,000 workers.
