I made this portrait of a construction worker near Lagos, because I thought he looked like Samuel Jackson

So I am back from Paris! First time I tried my new 24-105mm f/4 L lens from Canon. I am really impressed by the sharpness and overall quality! Just give me a better camera, but there's always something to improve, isn't it?
I somehow like how the french are working! Don't mean it generally, but this example shows in quite a good way how five guys are watching the one working!
However, I really like the clock and the cool atmosphere about it! Has something really special! Feels so oversized...
The photo is about some workers and a large boat. Workers are collecting sand from the river. The boat anchored at the bank of the river and the workers are carrying sand to vehicles and these vehicle will carry them to the cities. This is a common story of riverside.

Rowel, construction worker.
We met Rowel (50 yo) in Dauin in the construction site of the resort of a good friend. Him and his workmates accepted to be taken in picture.
We will go back next month to meet them again for the construction of bamboo bungallow. :)
The resort name is "la tortue, Diving center" and promises to be extremely nice specially for the divers in the Negros. :)
