The building I worked in was huge. It was impressive. There were all kinds of exhibits and art displayed throughout. And the grounds were nice too.
But if you looked closely, you'd realize that it was all superficial. The water in the lake (pond?) was dirty, riddled with algae. The glass of the windows was never cleaned and was smudged and dirty. I should not have been taking pictures of buildings according to "policy" but there probably wasn't enough security to stop me even if they noticed what sinister plot I might be hatching.
They were even skimping on paper and toner for the printers, which we needed to complete what they were asking us to do!
Oh, well, I got some good shots in. :)

The reception area of CP+B in Miami. Cool looking spot that today had a live telecast from the Boulder, CO office.
I love the feeling in the archives when not all the lights in the warehouse's stacks are on. The red behind me is an exit light. I snapped this very quickly this morning when I got to work. I think, with a little bit more planning and time, there could be some neat shots to be had in here.
Fun first is work never.

For the most part, people do everything to avoid being in my photo. For the odd few people that don’t, I really don’t mind as long as you walk it like a cat.

Rupert Murdoch came to work the other day. 14/05/2008. his first visit to NDS IL, though not his first visit to Israel. he was invited to Israel for the 60th celebrations. Jerusalem, Israel. - the NDS hats everyone was given for Rupert's visit. it has the 60th logo on it too
Utility work at Central Parkway and Main Street in preparation for Cincinnati Streetcar construction.
so as I was taking several shots in rapid succession the other day, my crazy mom decided to do a photo shoot "fashion model" style lol - I meant to make a mosaic of these earlier but I forgot ... should be good for a laugh!
and people *wonder* how I got to be so strange?? Between this and daddy strutting with the cane ... I think I turned out pretty damn normal, considering!!
