Amtrak Work Extra 2006 heads south with AMTK 522 trailing. The power is returning from spotting empty tie flats at Meriden Yard and is enroute back to Cedar Interlocking where it will back six loaded tie cars to the TLM (Track Laying Machine) which is installing Track 2 to the right of the engines. The work is part of the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield Commuter Rail project, scheduled for completion next year. The P&W 2006, along with 2010 have been leased by Amtrak for work train service.
Free mushroom one I got with a computer arts mag four toki doki toys and one i have no idea what it is. but the little "brain" comes off the head and i filled it with paper stars.

Hard at work making frames of Gods and Goddesses at City Market, Bangalore
Work began, floor by floor to measure all of the lost features: the granite stone, cast metal balusters, ornamental metal and the wood and brass curved handrail. Each floor was slightly different, requiring their individual measurements and restoration programs. In this photograph, the contractors carefully record the floor measurements required for the restoration of the granite flooring.

The Floating Dock Shop completed work on this fantastic CAT 5 dock earlier this week. This dock features a custom multi-slip complete with a wide side. A side-slip can also be found for further docking of smaller boating vehicles. This dock is custom fit with two Hydro Hoist Boat lifts to lift and protect the owner’s boat from aggressive tide. Wahoo custom bumpers line the inside of each slip for further protection. The upper level consists of a simplistic gable roof painted Surrey Beige. This dock is anchored by means of two stable Pipe Rollers, and is connected to shore through a 60’ flat gangway fitted with TimberTech XLM SandRidge decking. Overall a great dock and fun project!

Shot the photos against this red wall, reviewed and proofed them with her on a widescreen 50" HD monitor, and then proofed them on the 30" 6-color inkjet - all at work. I might have found an ideal "studio" space... if the owners don't mind. :-)
