Observing a quick downpour at work in Pleasanton, CA. Too bad I was stuck inside so I couldn't enjoy it lol. A low pressure system was impacting the Bay Area and California with rainy, unsettled weather during this time. Our state needs the water so this was a nice treat for us, although it made for hazardous driving conditions! Drive safely out there folks! (Tuesday, November 8, 2022)
*Rain serves as a quiet reminder to take a minute and take care of yourself. Drink tea, read a book, curl up for a nap. Do things that only rain seems to encourage.
So one of our compliance monitoring systems sent just a little bit of spam about some systems... (4788). So I tried to delete all 4788 at one time and Outlook puked!
A bunch of new people in the office, so they needed characters (so they don't feel left out). The Phantom sprang into action!

The people seem happy enough (well, they are going home) but here the scale suggests that they do not matter as much as the buildings and the work they do in them. I hope the "focal emphasis" suggests this, or does it just look like I can't focus my camera?
Still plenty of carpentry and finishing to do, but this will soon be a portable, stable, securely-mounted and well-protected electrified Singer 29.
The case seems overbuilt, screwed and glued 3/4-inch cabinet plywood, but there's a method to the madness. Besides providing stability and protection, the top, taken off, becomes the bottom -- a 24-inch-tall stand, putting the machine at a comfortable working height for sitting on the floor when working away from home.
