This row of horses waited in the 12°F weather for their owners, who were likely inside a very popular restaurant having a bite to eat. They were all tethered by what originally looked like bike locks, but upon closer inspection, it was more of a slip/choke lead around their necks. Note the frost on the first ones muzzle. When these animals are pulling the buggies, they work at a steady pace, snorting and puffing clouds of breath into the frigid air. No doubt, the icing on it's muzzle was from its own breath, not from munching on snow. It's both magnificent and heartbreaking all at the same time. There is so much pride in the Amish way. And the animals get to work. But it's also a very cold day. Bless their hearts
Just back from breakfast.
Took these photos quickly before starting work. Busy last day before returning to the real world in the morning. Probably won't get time to change later, so this is it until bed time!
Working from home has the perk of being able to stop frequently during a project to stretch, take some deep breaths, and relax. My employer would allow that at the office too, but I would have a level of self induced guilt if I were
to do that there.
So now, working from home I have learned to give myself the needed breaks my mind and body need.
Also, this Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair is MUCH better than what I have in the office ;)

People At Work
On my way back from shopping I saw these two guys with their heads stuck in a big hole. Just as I was taking their photo this fellow popped up and looked at me, he then waved, so I don't think he minded having his picture taken.
