The view from my desk. According to our staff handbook, we have a duty to keep our desks in reasonable order. I like my hands to be doing things, whether that's doodling, sewing, or making endless paper birds. After about a year, the pile of little birds was getting a bit much for some people. So I decided that my desk domain extends vertically, and claimed this beam space for some suspended cranes. I think they look rather nice.

Amid the clutter, no wonder nothing ever gets done...

I start work again today. Not really looking forward to it, but I know I will feel better once I am there.

Things have been really busy at work lately - mostly, perhaps, because the tasks I do are new to me and I've got no one in my company to seek help from. I google, read tutorials, check support forums, etc... The upside is of course that I am able to learn new stuff, adding to my skills - but it can get really overwhelming at times..! Maaya (Pullip Latte) visited me at work last week and knows what I am talking about. ;)

When I'm actually working, here's what it looks like these days.

One of my coworkers busily simulating work while I was wandering around with my camera not even faking it..

He does a helluva a job of work simulation, BTW. ;)

After watching Le Petit Theatre Dior - Making of the "Mexique" dress on youtube, I just had to give tambour work a try! :)
