There is something both sensuous and exciting about wearing a pair of used, floppy tube socks and knowing they had been worn on the feet of some other hot guy. I find that to be wildly exciting!!!

The Mermaid Fountain (Chafariz das Sereias) in Belém is getting a makeover. Time will tell if it can return to its Belle Époque glory.

The view from my desk. According to our staff handbook, we have a duty to keep our desks in reasonable order. I like my hands to be doing things, whether that's doodling, sewing, or making endless paper birds. After about a year, the pile of little birds was getting a bit much for some people. So I decided that my desk domain extends vertically, and claimed this beam space for some suspended cranes. I think they look rather nice.

Same angle photo as "before".

TGIF. Had a lift to work this morning. It’s been very busy this morning but also enjoyable. Nice meeting up with people and having a bit of a chat with others. Off out for a meal with my fabulous boyfriend. 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋

Amid the clutter, no wonder nothing ever gets done...

I start work again today. Not really looking forward to it, but I know I will feel better once I am there.

Things have been really busy at work lately - mostly, perhaps, because the tasks I do are new to me and I've got no one in my company to seek help from. I google, read tutorials, check support forums, etc... The upside is of course that I am able to learn new stuff, adding to my skills - but it can get really overwhelming at times..! Maaya (Pullip Latte) visited me at work last week and knows what I am talking about. ;)

One of my coworkers busily simulating work while I was wandering around with my camera not even faking it..

He does a helluva a job of work simulation, BTW. ;)

yesterday’s outfit of the day was a black turtleneck sweater, these black & white leggings, black tights and drawstring ankle boots. but the drawstring doesn’t cinch it ties only so tight and with their goldtone accents they loosen and even sometimes come untied, which i knew happened when i stepped on my lace end while hiding in the archive room. i did retie my bootie right after this pic.
