Here's what I have so far... Blogged at Stitched In Color.

A different even more surreal approach. Go large at the face.

Being on maternity leave means my work is looking after my babies. My husband also has a contracting business and does a lot of work from home. She was playing "working just little daddy!"

This guy rode with the cement pouring equipment at the end of a big crane, from the cement mixers to the location where the cement was needed - at times I guess he was at least 15 meters/50 feet above the ground, and the thing was swinging wildly in all directions. Not a job for me...

I have been working on making my own doll on and off since 2007. The first prototype was made of wax and in 6th scale, but now I'm leaning more towards making the doll in 4th scale instead as the larger fashions can be more detailed and fabrics flow more naturally on a 16" figure than on a 12" one. I haven't started working on the 16" body yet, but hopefully I'll have time to get started during the Christmas holiday.

I have been sculpting this African head for some months now, but this is the first resin cast of the work in progress. It's very coarse at this point and the resin has bubbles in it that make the poor girl completely pox marked, but I still wanted to share this with you and hear what you think. :)

The StreetScooter Work is an electric van developed and produced by Deutsche Post. These vans are built in Aachen, so these ones are probably brand new, just coming from the factory.

I did some Picnic work on this 6 months old pic.. Personally I liked this shot a lot . I highly recommend going here if you are going to Goa..

The place is called NaaDora, which is 25 KMs from Panjim in Goa. The river Mandovi flows here and early morning people start extracting sand from the river which would be used for construction purpose!

Certainly an amazing view you would get from the bridge.

One of the positive blocks in a nine block positive/negative repeat. I took this mainly so that if the cat or other family member brushed past and knocked a few pieces off, I'd have a visual record to get things back in order quickly as I piece. Since we've moved I have no studio and must work in shared space. . .harumph! Fabric addicts can see a bit of what's in my stash in these colorways. Do you see any of your fabrics here?

The tiles work performed in the Pakistan, particularly in the Sindh is excellent and the exemplary to this is the work seen in the images added here.

These beautifully patterned and colored tiles are mounted in the mosque alongwith the shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai which defines the workmanship and skil of the workers performed the job.

Yeah, it's the shrink ray from "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids". Ironically, I don't think I'll be able to quite shrink it down to minifigure scale.

I'm also kind of hoping that the forthcoming Louis Tully minifig has dual printing on the head and there's a normal Rick Moranis face on the other side.

It's been a very long time since I've worked with any photos, and almost a year since I picked up my camera properly. Since work is about all I think of right now, here's an example of what work looks like for me the few weeks of the year when it's actually enjoyable. Storglaciaren, Kebnekaise, Sweden. August 2012.
