Far from home as stand-by vehicles for rail replacement work between Hastings and Eastbourne, Go-Ahead Metrobus Orpington based 978 YR10 BCU stands ahead of E209 SN61 DDA at Hastings railway station. Both vehicles performed on the 320 yesterday. Sunday 26th February 2017. DSCN40305.

The love hate relationship with the new FLICKR layout continues. I’m not too keen on it because I prefer things to be simple, like me. It’s too full on and in your face for me with little scope for adjusting the layout to suit. I can live with that but what has got my goat is the fact that since the “revamp” my viewing figures have plummeted. Okay assume my standards of images has fallen. I don’t think so. Next point, a lot of good photographers who viewed my work have left to pastures new. Lastly, maybe it’s just too much of a pain for people to view images now and they just don’t bother. Either way I’m getting fed up with Flickr and as soon as I can establish another platform I will be off. 1 TB or not.

Arts Alive Chalk Paintings are judged at 3 this afternoon. This sweet 16 year old wanted to leave her Edward Scissorhands and play with Benni. Several of the artists stopped work to get handshakes and high fives from Benni who knew not to step inside the blue outlined grids.

During the week I was in Scarborough , the Central Cliff Lift ( Tramway ) was closed because of work on the tracks .
Regrettably I had to walk up the adjacent stairs . It took me over 15 minutes , and two squirts of my Angina spray .
