The word focussed at the centre of the picture reads e-pish meaning "work". It is a detail of a lexical list containing Sumerian terms in a left column and their Akkadian equivalants on the right. One can compare those lexical lists with modern dictionaries, but the sequence of this specific "dictionary" follows the pronunciation of the Akkadian terms.

I'm ecstatic to have 2 days off tomorrow and day after. I could sleep, do nothing, eat whatever I want, and pretend, for those 2 days, that I have no deadlines, reports, administration, and various responsibilities that I care not to list or think about.
A Marc train pulls into Point of Rocks station, as it prepares to let off upwards of 30 passengers after their long day of work.
My visit to native this time time was quite lucky. i got to shoot near "Battada Kana" its a place where they sun dry the raw paddy. This was shot while they were piling up the paddy in the evening.

Lighting was two Alien Bee B800s with 11" long throw reflectors, triggered by Paul C. Buff CyberSync radio triggers.
Working on freelance Fashion illustrations for a TV Commercial. I don't have a big desk so I draw on the floor with everything lying around.It's been a while for me to draw girly things but it's fun so far.

My work outfit for last Friday. I hadn't worn this pleated skirt for a while and so thought it time to give it an outing.
Really didn't fancy going back into work today. By some miracle, which is almost certain not to be repeated for the rest of 2011, the train was on time.
The chap on the right is a fellow commuter who gets the same train as me every day, yet despite seeing each other every morning, it is only recently that protocol has allowed us to graduate to a nod of greeting with a hello on special occasions (eg announcement of a major delay*)
The train coming home was delayed, so back on familiar territory.
