Our first big snowfall of the season. These pine branches don't normally bend down and touch the ground like this! Many trees are drooping with accumulated ice and snow [both were falling all day yesterday, last night, and all of today].
Reminds me of a grumpy old man with those eyebrows.

Springboard diver Tricia Woo broke a ten year old highschool diving record in the 2005 season. (My old diving record in 1995. Ten years later I had an honor being the coach of the person to break it. I am very proud of her.)

I had the honor of coaching this girl because she had so much talent that transfered over from gymnastics. She was able to perform on the first day of practice, a lot of twists and sommersaults that the average beginner diver wouldn't be able to do with a whole year or two of practice.
This picture has multiple purposes. It was taken for a local newspaper for their Spring Sports Preview section, for her to examine and critique her diving form and for my portfolio. Taking pictures like this was the main purpose of my interest in learning photography, to take pictures of the athletes on our team.

Sporting a good bit of brown, this wooly worm appears to think the coming winter won't be too bad in southern Ohio. We'll see.
I have never seen such a wooly, hairy horse before!

The one I love
Is standing near
The one I love
Is everywhere
I can woo you
I can amuse you
But there is nothing I can do to make you mine
Black cloud, black cloud
The one I love
Roosts in the mind
Can snap this spell
Or increase hell
I can chase you
And I can catch you
But there is nothing I can do to make you mine
Black cloud, black cloud
Oh, black cloud
Oh, black cloud
I play the game
Of Favorites now
I can I must
I will I do
I can please you
Or I can freeze you out
But there is nothing I can do to make you mine
Black cloud, black cloud, black cloud
I can choke myself to please you
And I can sink much lower than usual
But there's nothing I can do
To make you mine

I headed up the Crow Road this morning. My plan was to follow this fence line all the way to the forest then head around to the North of the forest and find myself above the village of Fintry. The view from up there down towards Loch Lomond is awesome. I got to the edge of the forest then jumped over the fence to head north. Left foot found a nice deep hole and stayed the rest of my body continued forward and kinda tore my ligaments around my ankle. After much ooooing!!!! and aaaaaing!!!! I headed back down. I got all of 20 yards before going over on it again. This time I screamed lol So as I type I am sitting with my foot up and its twice the size it should be. No broken bones but man it throbs. I also found a new use for my tripod today. Thank god I had it or I would never have got off the hills. 1 1/2 hours to get back to my car then off to A&E. So! this post is my mood now just black and white lol
