the sunset was amazing, but i was actually going to take another photo of one of my new gerberas, so why not take both of them at the same time???
no post-processing done here, not even levels nor color adjustments, just resized for the web. a bit off center but this is my best take. i will post the rest of the photos another day...

Roller coasters, I hate them!! Can you imagine with a camera? How the heck did I do that!! Was worried about my lens more than myself. My first and last shot in a roller coaster. I am still in shock mode...

This well-racked bull was obviously a bit twitterpated with this pretty cow elk. Doesn't appear though that she was too interested. They are such fun and fascinating to watch during the rut.

Solarium mauritianum is a pest weed in NZ. It's pretty little flower only about 1cm across. It is also known locally as Tobacco Weed because the similarity between its leaves and that of the real Tobacco plant.

I believe tonight is a night of a full moon and Halloween as well. So who knows what I will see flying by.
This time last year the library was running an all night event - from 10am Friday - 4pm Saturday with lots of events during the day and night. We had a fire dancer and I did a sunset photoshoot (absolutely no sunset!). Also a Chinese orchestra and the men's shed cooking free breakfast. How times have changed! Here's to a a better time coming up.
