I didn't do any editing on this photograph, and this was actually taken with my cell phone! The pavement for some reason decided to look blue in the picture, which I thought was really cool, although I didn't notice it when I first took the picture. I found a large ring of wire about the size of my head on the side of the road near a friend's house, and while I was walking to another friends', I bent and twisted it into the shape of a cross. This has a significant meaning to me because I am a Christian. I love this photo and I hope to take more like it.
Designed by me (Donna Hulka): This is the actual Hairpin Lace Wire Bowl that appears in Crocheted Gifts (Kim Werker, Interweave), page 24-29.

While I was at it, I also gave my Abby the wiring and hot-glue sueding treatment. She is 200% better at posing now! No more kicky girl!
There's just something about barbed wire that makes for a good (if not cliche) photograph. I don't know what it is though.
Spinning burning wire wool to create falling 'sparks' of light. It's a really cool effect - look it up (and be safe, don't attempt without proper safety equipment etc.)

Al fin tengo lectura para unos días. Llegó el ejemplar de febrero de 2010 de Wired.
I have something to read for a few days at last. It came the February issue of Wired.
This large wire sculpture in VanDusen Gardens, Vancouver, is always magical in its setting, and in the snow it looked even better. A wire-sculpted hare that is part of this unit has been stolen.
The very first wire weaving project i tried. I used a tutorial, and I was happy with the result. I like these colours so much I have used them a few times now.
This image still needs a lot of editing because the street lights flooded the image with orange light which ruined it
