This is a small Carmen rose made from 10 roses. 9 of the roses were taken apart and each petal wired using a fine gauge of wire. Sepals and inferior petals were removed from the 9th rose and its natural stem was replaced with a wire one. Add individual wired petals to the bud, using smaller petals to the center and larer towards the outside. It was finished with wired Hard ruscus leaves to hide the mechanics.

I like the pattern fo the wire 'tree' against the dark sky..The roses and leaves make a counter statement to it and contrast with it...Just trying to make "interesting" photos, not always 'colorful' ones.

I finally have the time to upload these "beauty shots" of Necrosha, a Sybarite repaint by em'lia (formerly Slipper).
She is wearing the partial outfit from Couture Salon Sybarite and the "Naomi" wig, also by Superdoll.
I just cannot get over how perfect she is, and particularly how perfect she is for me. I have to shout it out: em'lia is a superb artist who has brought something to life with this doll that truly came from a vision within me, and the creation process is part of why I adore this doll so much :)
Unfortunately, Necro still suffers from the fact that her left upper leg had chipped during the transport from Emilia to me (which was purely the fault of the mail service people, as she was packed perfectly). She has an official replacement leg, but while I was trying to install it, the elastic cord broke and now, the leg is held in place by metal wire I happened to still have :(
After that experience, I am now incredibly afraid to try and fix her by taking the elastic cord out and re-assembling the body! So, the poor thing has to live with her left leg being held by wire for now, I hope she forgives me that >.<
Spinning burning wire wool to create falling 'sparks' of light. It's a really cool effect - look it up (and be safe, don't attempt without proper safety equipment etc.)

Ragged Victorians were at the Didcot Railway Centre, Oxfordshire on July 3rd 2021 for a photo day.

This wire-crested thorntail / rabudito crestado was photographed at WildSumaco Lodge, Guamaní Napo Ecuador
I love how the English language common name for this bird incorporates the males' very top feature - the thin, wiry feathers at the top of its head - and the very bottom feature on both males and females, the sharply pointed, "thorn-like" shape of its tail tips.
This photograph was obtained at a facility with no wildlife in captivity. Some birds, mammals, and insects were drawn within photographic range by the provision of various carefully maintained foods appropriate to the species and habitat. Natural foods were also abundantly available in the area within and around the facility.
Experimented with wire wool.
So much fun.
Next time, will bring lighting to bring out the surroundings better
