Snow covered benches in Benton Harbor’s Jean Klock Beach. In a couple months however, the snow, snow fences, and ice mounds will be gone as the beach readies for another summer season.
An army of almond trees stand at attention near the Sutter Buttes in California's Sacramento Valley. This is a land of nuts, but where isn't these days. At least these nuts go well with a cold frosty beer. :-)

In a temporary way that somehow still
Feels like Forever
And the frozen daggers that drip
Remind us of our own inner homeostasis

When our time of reverie is up
And we have to join the world again?
