The fog has lifted somewhat even as I can hear the foghorns somewhere it is still foggy on the water. Art and fabric art are well in progress.
Below is the village, Mishongnovi, one of the Hopi Indian villages of Second Mesa, Arizona. Mishongnovi, means “place of the black man,” is named for the leader of a clan that came here from the San Francisco Peaks around 1200. The original Mishongnovi village, located at the base of the mesa, was abandoned in the 1690s, and the village was reestablished at the current site atop the mesa. The Snake Dance is held here during odd numbered years. In-flight Aboard Southwest Airlines Flight 3371, Chicago Midway International Airport to San Diego International Airport. till about 2-00 pm this afternoon
the sun broke through the clouds
and give us streaks of red
before settling down to the horizon

Coming up on an interesting landmark. Shiprock, a monadnock rising 1,583 feet above the high-desert plain of the Navajo Nation in San Juan County, New Mexico. This rock formation is the erosional remnant of the throat of a volcano that stood above here over 27 million years ago. Shiprock and the surrounding land have religious and historical significance to the Navajo people. An open cockpit window afforded me this wonderful view of the starboard wing and Pratt & Whitney R-2800.
'Double windowview' .... Zelfde treinritje alleen een kilometertje of wa verder op. Zonnekap eraf en tegen het glas toen we stilstonden op Lelijkstad..... Toch komen er dan blijkbaar nog reflecties. Zal wel in de tweede rij met glas zitten.
This image seems to say for me how I feel today -- inside - waiting for our disappearing spring to return and watching the snow build up on the window outside.
this storm has not been a "spring storm", but rather a brutally cold return of winter harshness -- worse than anything we had in the true winter months.
