I have a branch for a perch right outside the glass for the birds to land on! When people come into the office I get zero eye contact, they watch the birds landing behind me.
Dawn, and I'm waiting for my ride to the airport. My temporary work space has been cleaned and put back in order. The birds are quiet, the kids are tucked in bed, and the girls fast asleep. Going home.

Flying south of Williams, Arizona. Founded in 1881 and named after a famous trapper, scout and mountain man, “Old Bill Williams.” Located on the Historic Route 66, the town is also known as the “Gateway to the Grand Canyon.” Williams is the southern terminus and headquarters of the Grand Canyon Railway, a tourist railroad carrying visitors to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The mean elevation around the natural landmark is 5,600 feet above sea level. The flight was at an altitude of 37,000 feet when this photo was taken. Shiprock, a monadnock rising 1,583 feet above the high-desert plain of the Navajo Nation in San Juan County, New Mexico. This rock formation is the erosional remnant of the throat of a volcano that stood above here over 27 million years ago. Shiprock and the surrounding land have religious and historical significance to the Navajo people.
