Soft rain this morning lent everything an over-saturated color, crying out for photos even through windows or screens.
Passing the Commerz-Bank Arena which is home to Eintracht Frankfurt and was used for the world cup final in 2006, just behind is Frankfut Neiderrad railway station.
Roseringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri)-
Adult male sports a black neck-ring and pink nape-band.
Display bright-red upper-mandible.
Measure on average 40 cm (16 inches) long including the tail feathers. Its average single wing length is about 15–17.5 cm (6-7 inches). The tail accounts for a large portion of their total length.
The parrots come in pairs during mornings looking for food and sit about the Ashoka trees seen right outside our bedroom window.They are also often seen on my neighbours guava tree which is beginning to flower this season.

"A jack-o'-lantern (or jack o'lantern) is a carved pumpkin or turnip lantern, associated with the holiday of Halloween and named after the phenomenon of a strange light flickering over peat bogs, called will-o'-the-wisp or jack-o'-lantern. In a jack-o'-lantern, the top of the pumpkin or turnip is cut off to form a lid, the inside flesh is scooped out, and an image — usually a monstrous or comical face – is carved out of the rind to expose the hollow interior.
To create the lantern effect, a light source is placed within before the lid is closed.
The light source is traditionally a flame such as a candle or tea light, but artificial jack-'o-lanterns with electric lights are also marketed. It is common to see jack-o'-lanterns on doorsteps and otherwise used as decorations prior to and on Halloween."
Fourteen minutes after leaving Heathrow and BA428 to Amsterdam is already over Essex, down below can be seen Clacton-On-Sea and the railway stations of Great Bentley and Weeley.
This shot was made from Air New Zealand Bombardier Q300 while flying from Auckland to Palmerston North, New Zealand. Not sure about our cruising altitude since the data was not available in flight. Guess we were somewhere between 20,000 and 25,000 ft. Nice cloud formation can be spotted down below the wing.

Do you talk with your plants?
This is the view from my bedroom. I grew up with this view. However, I did not grow up taking care of the plants. I am like the worst plant carer ever....(„ಡωಡ„)
But my mum really loves plants and talks with them while she’s watering them. I think it’s super cute I can only hope I can become such a good plant carer...one day! o(>ω<)o

While in the city I spent one night out in Brooklyn @ Ben's place, while he's away in Paris again. Wanted to see what it was like to be in Brooklyn, after having lived on Manhattan Island for years. Interesting just by crossing a river from one part of the city to the other, can feel so different. Only a few miles apart and yet it feels like decades away. How can just one small river make such a big difference?
