A tender goodbye at a bus stop.

I worked for 47 years from 1974 to 2021. My last 30 years were with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality in Richmond.

For my first 43 years, I had an office. For my last four years, I had a cubical. BUT, at least I had the best view in the building.

Sitting at my desk, this was my view. A fantastic view of the Virginia Capitol. What a view!

There are days when I am unable to leave my house due to chronic pain and yet nature finds me and gives me something to focus on, literally…

the historic Carnegie Library in Port Elgin, Ontario...re-opened this weekend...with a wonderfully restored, enlarged, and accessible beautiful old/new building...here are some things that caught my eye :

First, my friend Joan....VERY active on the organizing committee...looking suitably triumphant !!!!

Reflections on the window, clouds in the sky, a garden view, and a peaceful morning ...
