The year I gave the book another go,
[the year my mother died], I learned
everything big happens in parenthesis –
marriage, birth, The War, poetry. Is it the full
manuscript or just the bits in the middle
that count. Is it the woman at the window,
marking the hours, from cover to cover –
or these few lines: that as she eased out from
the bank and into the water the brackets
of it opened and closed about her.

When it is quiet at the feeders it usually means there is a predator nearby...all is quiet in this moment...no splashing, or flutters to be heard.
Tel Aviv, is the second-largest city in Israel.
The city is situated on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline, with a land area of 51.4 square kilometres.
It is the largest and most populous city in the metropolitan area of Gush Dan, home to 3.2 million people as of 2008.
A most beautiful, lovely, metropolis, thousands trek to this city and find everything needed to live a metropolitan life~style...second to none!
The others were too lazy to read the instructions, so they just tailed us.

It feels good to be home however, now the work begins...unpacking 6 suitcases, all the collected mail, income tax preparation, ugh! Not going to be much time for Flickr for a while but perhaps when I need a break now and then I'll check in.
As I was standing at the kitchen sink washing up, I happen to look out the window and saw a few cows grazing, and I couldn't resist, so I quickly dry my hands and grabbed my camera.
A momentary escape from the autumn-like grayness and rain below as we cruise briskly homewards at 25,000 ft...
