It is below freezing outside, but warm in my studio. Lots of plans for the day and time to sit here and draw and paint.

I got my driver's license in 1975. Living in the country, this was my first taste of freedom. I was able to go places with my friends, and the night time offered many new experiences. AM radio songs in a Ford Pinto wagon--10cc "I'm Not In Love"; America "Sister Golden Hair"; The Doobie Brothers "Black Water"; The Eagles "One of These Nights'; Pheobe Snow "Poetry Man".

Sometimes it is a smell that triggers memories. In this case it is the light in the photo that brings it all back.
