When the Adriatic becomes boring, it's time to head inland - to the Krbava Sea! With beautiful beaches, clear water, untouched nature - and just the odd aircraft flying overhead - this hidden gem is waiting just for you! An interesting transformation of the normally dry Krbava Field a day after the passage of a huge storm system. Even though it would dry up within a couple of days, this impromptu lake had nevertheless caused problems for Bjelopolje Airfield, whose runway had ended up half submerged along its length...
I'm 100 per cent convinced that there is no such thing as a bland, ordinary day. There are new discoveries to be made, different perspectives to be taken, and sights unknown that we will reach. Begin each day with the thought that today there is magic in the air, and I'm going to experience some of the thrill and beauty of it! Enjoy every moment as though it were your first and never lot go of that child-like enthusiasm!!!

A moody, atmospheric shot taken from inside a vehicle during a rain shower, looking out at a quiet suburban street at dusk. Some hours later our Finnair Airbus A330-302 landed at Bangkok's Suvanabhumi airport fourteen minutes ahead of schedule after a spectacular approach over the city's outskirts.

There is a unique kind of magic in train travel. The carriage window becomes a living frame, constantly shifting through landscapes, glimpses of distant lives, and fleeting stories.
This shot captured a brief moment along the way: a solitary house standing out in a golden field beneath a heavy, dramatic sky. A sudden splash of color amidst the quiet greens and wheat. A second later, the train will carry you away, leaving this peaceful world behind—preserved only in this frame.

• As of the latest numbers released today, there have been 24,422 reported cases of COVID-19 in B.C.; 6,861 of those are active.
*There have been 762 new cases and 10 deaths since Tuesday.
• 320 people have died in B.C., with 209 in hospital, 58 of whom are in intensive care. 16,914 confirmed cases have recovered.
• 9,871 people are under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.
• 1,005,759 British Columbians have been tested for COVID-19, including 11,145 in the past 24 hours.

This intimate nighttime photograph captures a view through a window pane, where out-of-focus city lights transform into soft, glowing orbs of green, yellow, and white. The white window frame and latch are sharply in focus, creating a strong contrast with the dreamy, blurred background, evoking a quiet, contemplative mood from an indoor vantage point.

I can set myself up with the window seat and keep an eye out to the distant view while enjoying the breeze coming through.... and work.

Since jet drivers constantly wow the internet with their in-flight long exposures, I think it is time for us turboprop guys to also get in on the action! Despite a ceiling of only 25,000 ft - still in the "dirty" and hazy layers of the atmosphere - and ample vibrations at a myriad of amplitudes and frequencies, a little experimentation can occasionally produce a usable result...
(apart from the dirty windscreen, a couple of distortions and the odd reflection from our avionics)
Nice winglet reflections throughout this flight, and a bonus "glory" with the plane's shadow was a bonus.
Doing the same dawn flight for several days in a row may sound like the aviation equivalent of Groundhog Day - but when the views are this fine, you can't really complain (all that much), can you?
