My travels around the UK by car for three weeks with my son. June/July 2019 England.
Day seven. After a look around the Bristol Harbour area we made our way across to Wales. Lots of more on the way along with lots of traffic jams.
The Second Severn Crossing (Welsh: Ail Groesfan Hafren)—officially renamed the Prince of Wales Bridge (Welsh: Pont Tywysog Cymru)—is the M4 motorway bridge over the River Severn between England and Wales, inaugurated on 5 June 1996 by the Prince of Wales to supplement the traffic capacity of the Severn Bridge built in 1966. The bridge is operated by Highways England. On 2 July 2018 the bridge was renamed the Prince of Wales Bridge in a ceremony conducted by the Prince.

HAPPY WINDOW WEDNESDAY(S) !!
Instead of calling my photo "A Shot Screen"
I was going to call it "A Screen Shot"
but it isn't a screen shot, so I didn't.😎
This is an artsy askew view of the vandalized window screen
covering an unglazed window. The window is at "standing-adult eye level"
on the exterior wall of a tiny old storage house or garden shed.
The window is less than a meter from a public walking path next to a park,
so it was easy to photograph.
NB - What appears to be white paint isn't. It's "bird paint."
Location: Storage house or garden shed on the grounds
of a small apartment house, Riehen BS Switzerland.
In my album: Dan's Windows.
I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
Ill cross the stream - I have a dream
I have a dream, a fantasy
To help me through reality
And my destination makes it worth the while
Pushing through the darkness still another mile
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
Ill cross the stream - I have a dream
Ill cross the stream - I have a dream
I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
Ill cross the stream - I have a dream
Ill cross the stream - I have a dream

Think its going to be a wet Weekend again.
Wishing My beautiful friends a very fabulous Weekend! Yes, you all are beautiful!
Time to dream again. Its February! :D
I shot this photo directly through our front window screen during a thunderstorm. The mesh of the screen and the raindrops on the screen give it a distinctively "arty" look, without the addition of any processing.
Found this moth on a window screen. Sent it to the experts to get an id. Turned out to be a new species for me. Very little info on it with a internet search other than what the larvae eat and where they can be found. The name Chalcedony comes from "CHALCEDONY: a precious stone, usually gray and/or whitish, sometimes mixed with other colors, resembling the colors on the moth's forewing" (Bugguide) Midget moths in general get their names from their tiny size and this one was really small.

stored away for years, refound and revived: a window embellishment, a screen hanging at the studio window and catching the sun light through a sturdy cotton frame with light kozo (mulberry) paper behind
Found this lil guy on my window screen. These are great insects to have in your garden. Their larvae eat pest bugs such as aphids, thrips, spidermites. The adults eat nectar. Some people buy lacewing eggs to put in their gardens as part of their organic pest control.

Something I see every day, but only a rainy day decide to shoot it. Collected from flea markets and antique malls over several years, these objects get more notices when going outside isn’t practical.
