Tiny yellow butterfly having a snooze on my window screen. Some scientist must have been running out of ideas when it came time to give this species a name.
"What do you want to call this one Fred? My brain is fried, I can't think of anything. Screw it, lets just call it little yellow butterfly" And the name stuck
Little Yellow Butterfly (Pyrisitia lisa)

I took this shot for fun, displaying the window curtain, a frog thermometer and the view of balcony and outdoor trees as seen through the window screen in late afternoon.
This foggy morning dew condensed on the screen.. This image was edited in Adobe lightroom then in Topaz Restyle a cross-processed color palette was applied
Acknowledgement
I was inspired to look for different colored cross process looks after reading Singleelderly's wonderful Cross-processing color guide.
My grandson & I found a moth on his window screen. Turned out to be new for me. I think this particular species must be having a population boom, I have seen several people posting photos of them. Quite pretty. The larvae feed on mesquite trees. Makes sense to find it, my daughter has several of those trees.
Deduced Graphic Moth (Bulia deducta)

My travels around the UK by car for three weeks with my son. June/July 2019 England.
Day seven. After a look around the Bristol Harbour area we made our way across to Wales. Lots of more on the way along with lots of traffic jams.
The Second Severn Crossing (Welsh: Ail Groesfan Hafren)—officially renamed the Prince of Wales Bridge (Welsh: Pont Tywysog Cymru)—is the M4 motorway bridge over the River Severn between England and Wales, inaugurated on 5 June 1996 by the Prince of Wales to supplement the traffic capacity of the Severn Bridge built in 1966. The bridge is operated by Highways England. On 2 July 2018 the bridge was renamed the Prince of Wales Bridge in a ceremony conducted by the Prince.

Thunder is booming, rattling windows. Trees are bending and swaying as if keeping time to the thunder and the sound of the pouring rain. Our power has been going out, not sure what's to come. Matteo and Theo very talkative and edgy. Coincidently, just before this started (about an hour or so ago) we were discussing shopping for our annual hurricane supplies (lots and lots of water, batteries, litter, the cats' special food, and non-perishables for us.
About 15 years ago we were double whammied by Hurricanes Francis and Jean. At that time, we almost lost our house. We had to relocate for a year because the entire area was devasted and contractors were busy as bees. As it is, we were almost swindled by those we did hire (almost, because dad didn't raise a fool), but to this day I curse them and their shoddy work.
ANYWAY, the reason behind this tiny violin worthy narrative 🎻 is to explain why I might not be here (on Flickr) tomorrow or days to come. Our power company works diligently, but one never knows.
IF the sun truly does out tomorrow, then nevermind. 😉
