Using the Laowa magnification lens to capture fog and tiny drops on netting. Love fog, but now we have air quality alerts.
This macro lens magnifies small items by two!
A tiny plastic Slinky catches some afternoon sunlight on a window sill through the screened window beyond.
Macro Mondays: "Window Sill" theme
HMM
The top is in sight! I'm about to conquer Mount Window Screen!!
Smile on Saturday: "One Point Perspective" theme, described as follows:
"The one-point perspective is a composition technique that initially came from drawing. It is showing how elements seem to get smaller and smaller when positioned towards the background. In photography the main idea behind the one-point perspective is to use parallel lines that lead towards the background. It will create the effect of the lines merging more and more together towards the background; they lead towards one point and that's called the vanishing point."
I used an old window screen to try and get the converging parallel lines, which was somewhat, though only moderately successful. But the shot was pretty boring without some additional interest, so I decided to jump into the frame, which I concede pretty much messes up the idea of a vanishing point. Oh well, I kinda like the image anyway. :-)

Also for Our Daily Challenge "Something Extra" theme, in this case "Extra Silly" :-)

When meeting someone new, I'm often asked if I have grandchildren. I don't, but I have a granddog and a grandcat. I also have a great nephew cat. He belongs to my niece, but has been in long time residence with my sister. Here he is wishing to be outside... but knowing full well he wouldn't enjoy the rain.

Thanks to all the lovely Flickr friends who offered encouragement and well wishes. I can't thank you enough!
There was some flooding (my yard appeared to have a little pond, which fortunately has since gone). Some of the roads were a little treacherous and sirens were heard throughout the night, but that was then, and this is now! ❤
This was my Macro Mondays alternate holiday bokeh choice. The shot was of an ornament on one of our outside trees with the inside Christmas tree in the background. The window screen provided a nice additional element.
No longer needed, but too cool to throw out! Found these flash bulbs in one my dads old camera bags. Thank goodness we don't need them anymore! So expensive, plus you needed actual film back then. Only 12, 24 or 36 pics at a time. Egads. lol..
Created for 😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😜 theme of Outdated.

It's been raining day and night for two days. I'm so over it!
I shot this through the screen of my window, with my android.
HAPPY SLIDERS SUNDAY !!
THE CAPTION IS NOT ABOUT ME PERSONALLY.
In fact. I am the opposite right now.
Here, I am just being an image poet.
However, maybe it speaks to some among you.
Feel free to send it out as a "Blueventine."
To make this, I have slud a lot.
I straightened an askew image, cropped it square,
made it bluer than blue and as sharp as a heart in pain.

Heavy rain left the screen door beaded up with water, and I wondered... how would that look through a macro lens? Answer -- very cool!
Sorry, to me is very difficult to visit people that always only leave a fav without commenting...

A couple of minutes before the once-a-year Independence Day fireworks was scheduled to start. People were gathering in downtown for this event and cars were parked along every street, though some people seemed to be staying in the car and even some were leaving due to the weather. I took this in my car, through the windowshield full of raindrops.
Lastly, let's ignore the extremely poorly photoshopped trash bin in the foreground, shall we?
On car windowscreen just shows how filthy it is when it looks clean. If anybody has got some sun and warmth send it my way.A few flies and this little fellow and that was it today.
Aging window on one of the hospital wards at the abandoned Army Air Corps base in Wendover, Utah. To see more of this interesting and important base check out my album.
taken from our front window around 6:00pm back on February 8, just a couple of hours into the blizzard - and minutes before our power went out for the next 2 days. hmbt
Macro Monday Theme: Mesh
Window screen in my shop is in need of repair. This week's theme motivated me to remove the screen and replace it. Background is bright colored fabric, flash was set up behind sreen to illuminate only the background.
I had a little visitor to the outside of my window. She waited patiently for me to take a couple of photos then I left her to go about her business.
