Sony RX100 + Snapseed

last day to write that story..

but I made time to write love on my arms. :)

i know this picture's kinda dumb but hey the lighting was slightly tight.

so today as I finished up this story, (after I did school) I got so depressed. it was terrible. my story is really sad. and I LOVE writing sad stuff, it's just easiest and honestly really fun. but it started really getting to me and people started talking to me and I was being mean because I was seriously in a bad mood because of it! it was crazy. I was just depressed all afternoon. but hey, I finished it! and it's coming to my blog very soon. :) so after typing my fingers off, I went to youth group. it was gooood. we're doing this series called, "Wednesday Night Lights" (we do it every year about this time) it's where each grade is in charge of the whole night. but this year they paired us up with different grades. like, tonight was 10th grade guys, 7th grade, and 9th grade. it was great.

after youth I went home and finished the story. finally.

Sink from your shallows, soul, into eternity.

We touch the rays we cannot see.

We feel the light that seems to sing.

I like window light. At the time, it was cloudy and the light felt soft. I used the D90's in camera RAW editing. It always looks awesome and LCD, but when you see it on a larger screen.... Sometimes they look like crap on an LCD but awesome on a larger screen. It is a lose-lose-win-lose-win situation.

windowlight, camera left. iPhone. Haven't worked out how to trigger a strobe with it yet.

My niece's 6th birthday was celebrated in style and we had some fun taking pictures before the festivities.

They have these Lovely jar-bottles at my bf's place. Love em!

I have tons of images sitting in my computer that I have never processed. I found these while reviewing my last shoot with Courtney.

I love tight close-ups so decided to work with this image. Feel free to comment. I really love close-ups that include a hand. I have trouble directing my subject into a natural hand position.

I captured this with available light only. The main source was a large window behind camera position and slightly to the right.
