I have tons of images sitting in my computer that I have never processed. I found these while reviewing my last shoot with Courtney.
I love tight close-ups so decided to work with this image. Feel free to comment. My favorite images are close-ups that include a hand or two. I need alot of work in that area I think.
I captured this with available light only. The main source was a large window behind camera position and slightly to the right.
Week 19

Window Light. I went off topic. I love photographing these allium. Sunday with the early morning light. This is also straight out of the camera.

I can't decide which I like better, the color or bw. I love the color but I just love how her eyes look in bw. I must post both! LOL
She starts every morning with a cup of tea, wishing that she lived by the sea
not only do I wish I were living near the sea, I at least want an apartment with more window light and a view other than a cinderblock wall. I want to be able to see the sky without having to press my face against the window and look up. I want to feel a cooler breeze that doesn't drift cigarette smoke from those who smoke on the balcony.
This is a frame from a test roll when I was trying out Forte film from Hungary. Nice film, unfortunately they went out of business around that time. Fortepan 400 processed in Xtol 1:2. Camera was a Leica M6 with 35mm lens.
Shot with just the available light. The main source was a window behind camera position and somewhat to the left. White balance was custom setting.
I enjoy photographing Courtney. Her eyes are great.
Recently, I've just been doing a lot of straight RAW conversions, and leaving it at that. But Angela wanted one for her Facebook profile, so I went a bit to town on this one, and dug out the Photoshop.
Part of the May 9 Photographic Art Society of Roswell open studio workshop. Attendees brought some of their favorite pictures, and we set up similar lighting scenarios so that they could learn to light.
