I love window light. However, here I see that I have lost the top of his head. I needed some type of accent light for his hair.

This image was lit with mainly a large window to camera right. Located in the Kokomo Public Library, we got a few strange looks. I just told them that we were borrowing their light.
Another shoot with Courtney. This image was captured with nothing but the available light. A large window was behind the camera position and somewhat to the left.
What may have helped was that I obtained a custom white balance prior to shooting. I have never done that before.
I took this in and old warehouse. I'm pretty sure the windows haven't been cleaned since the 1930s, thus they act like big diffusers.
