More from working on my Mom's kitchen.

(This being decidedly on the "before" side) ha ha ha ha! :)

Taken on a fairly chilly morning on holiday in September. This blue tit seemed to be clinging to the window frame for warmth.

Vines with a few remaining autumn leaves cover the outside of an old window.

I worked from home today - which meant I got to test out my new manual zoom lens a bit. My focusing was a bit hit and miss, but I like the few shots that I nailed - even though they're not really of anything in particular. The light was nice today, in between a few short showers.

Still not feeling well, so I was glad to be at home today. I had lots of cleaning to do at lunch and after work (ahead of our friends staying tomorrow night), so also glad not to have to travel to and from the office.

From a suggestion from my friend Virginia, I merged an old window frame from our condo with the branches I took in Lumphini Park last week... except for the dirty window at the top, it came out pretty nice.

Trees and windowframe: Henra the cat in a woody milieu.

Gridwork and straight lines all over the place.

I loathe moths. With a PASSION. It was killing me to get this close to this DEAD one to get this picture.... but the light, the dusty windows, the windowframe... and then this little dead creature. Who knows how long it was there, and now it's gone. so unpleasant but now I see it I love it. sooc and proud of it. :)

[please do not use, reuse, change, distribute, sell in any way shape or form, or snitch my work... it's not good enough and you'd look silly for one. and for another i may or may not have vicious winged monkeys at my disposal.]

termite-proof, never needs painting

Can anybody guess where this is?

through my back door early in the morning..

I used to use the top of the windowframe to climb up into the rafters, and enter the house from a hole in the side of the attic. My bedroom was in the room on the right.

I had one of the cheapest rooms in Toronto... but it came with an excellent view.
