More pretty window boxes in Lyon Old Town

I like the weatherbeaten window frames for exhibitions here.

The very darkend windows provide a nice contrast

See where I goofed? I put the wood piece on the left too far below the wall surface. It was later fixed with plaster.

(shooting self in foot 1x per week ;)

yet another look towards heaven, this one will soon have the curtains drawn.

Through the misted window in the summer house.

the old ones are stained softwood and most no longer shut properly, as well as being single glazed and not lockable. The new ones are steel framed blue-grey upvc, double glazed, and all lockable.

Another shot taken by my brother, at the top of the Baker in the elevator motor room. The shot speaks volumes to me as an analogy for the hotel itself. As well as a perfect example of the beauty to be had as nature slowly reclaims pieces of this beauty.

All this liquid is on the inside of the window.

I'm being experimental- I think it comes from being around Olivier. He is very gifted at shooting candids. I on the other hand feel totally self concious.

I tried this over lunch. I've kept the shot in my stream even though I'm still unsure if I like it or not. Its the left hand side I don't like- the bit of the windowframe. But I do like the crop of the women, when I crop the window out it doesn't work....humnn.

This was my lunch by the way :)

My dog loves to dress himself in curtains whenever he wants attention (which is all the time.)

Black is back!! The best colour to add some depth to your decor...every room should have a touch of black!! This is a practical addition to your wall plus you're recycling at the same time!
