I'm enjoying the new skybox I'm living in a lot- but I'm also enjoying that it's been pretty chilly and I can pretend it's summer in SL!
Attic Skybox is from Trompe Loeil; the bar and mixing table are from Stockholm & Lima, the pipe bottle lamp is from tarte, and the monogrammed windowframe is from Commoner.
I dunno- I just really like how this place photographs.
Holiday in Sri Lanka. 3 hour trip on the train from Kandy to the tea plantations to the south and probably the photographic highlight of our time there. Despite the initial appearance from this shot, the Sri Lankan people are extremely welcoming, happy, friendly and social. This train was late in leaving (probably the British influence coming through) but there was singing, clapping and smiling faces everywhere (almost) up and down the carriages. Always checked if it was okay to take photos and absolutely no problems. First real attempt at a candid 'person shot'.
Cool cars, cooler outfits, and a whole lot of sunshine at the Classic Car Boot Sale, King’s Cross, Spring 2026.
The lights from the city buildings, cars and those lovely decorated trees with lights made this an interesting reflection in a huge window.
Looking through a window without glass, beside a wall with no roof, enjoying a beautiful light and view through those openings. Things tend to fall apart. Some beautiful things remain.

With a little luck, you can capture black holes without access to a powerful telescope!
Here is my fortunate capture of several black holes in various stages of accretion. Also, some of them seem to be in the process of merging. As a bonus, interstellar space was somehow imaged in the form of a wire-like grid. One can see how the fabric of space is distorted around the black holes by their powerful gravity fields.
NB1 - Apparently, some kind of interaction between the metal window frame through which I was shooting, the sensor in my ancient iPhone 4S and the local wireless 3G communications network made this image possible. Please note that newer iPhones and newer networks (e.g. 5G) may not have this capability. As I say, when questioned about my continued use of an iPhone 4S, "If it ain't broke, don't replace it."
NB2 - A UFO can be seen in the upper right hand corner.

Open up your house that has no views by placing a window view on your wall.
Adding a window framed image to your wall can create a sense of depth, light and openness to a room, especially a room where there are not many ..... or no windows.

A tropical view framed like a painting—lush gardens, swaying palms, and a glimpse of the ocean beyond. Sometimes the best scenery is found when you simply look outside.
