Standing on top of a cliff and shooting the Green Bridge in Wales, reminded me that this is the decade where so many of us finally awoke to realise that climate change is here.

I hope that part of the outcome of the US presidential election will bring a window of opportunity to change matters for the better.

Rejoining the Paris climate accord would be an encouraging first step in the right direction.

Last sunset as the excessive winds developed up to 60 km per hour ( glad it didn’t reach 100 km per hour ). Despite the 30 minutes loss of electricity, and a few trees down, no significant damage to our region. Today sunny and a high of 6C, but still windy 30 to 40 km per hour.

Some of you know that I did not vote for our president-elect, but I will respect him. I believe that God is in control and has orchestrated the outcome of this election to accomplish His purposes. And I will pray for him, as I do for all those in authority.

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.." 1 Tim. 2:1-3

Have shot St. Benet's mill a few times before, but some new flood defence works have created some new angles there, including this one which I shot today whilst on a workshop my wife got me as a xmas present last year, which I finally got round to using!

Starker Wind zerstört die Frisur

This lighthouse, originally built in 1912 has born the brunt of brutal winds and waves for over a century now. A symbol of a time past, this icon holds fast in January's setting sun.

A blend of 2 photos I took yesterday; a wonderful sunny day. That's how I like my Autumns!

Een mix van 2 foto's die ik gisteren genomen heb toen het zo lekker zonnig was. Zo houd ik wel van de herfst!
