Wind usually comes with storm, but at times, wind is alone, accompanied by no one but herself. She can be temperamental, unreasonable, and cold. I've been turned back from as many climbs by wind alone, as I've been turned around by storm.
Had a busy morning sorting out the garden for the new shed to be delivered on Tuesday. So just a quick image of the smoke blowing in the strong wind.

although this is a beautiful place, we don't get too many photos at this place. The wind was so strong and cold that we needed to get back in the car quickly. The photographer can't really think of any creative setup because of this adverse condition. So sorry.
Resulting damage caused by a brief but powerful thunderburst that struck Sheridan, Wyoming on July 7, 2007. The storm was accompanied by rain, hail, and strong winds. Many of the older neighborhoods had extensive damage from falling trees.

Today I went to a pow wow. It is amazing getting the opportunity to be immersed in another culture. The dancing and colors were so brilliant. I found this one to look like cool colors of wind and the ones in comments to look like earth and fire.
