A delightful day out with the FFF+ Group.

Grand Mere State Park

Waters along the Lake Huron shoreline were stirred up as a low pressure system created some strong, wintery winds and moody skies. Taken along the Grand Bend beachfront.

Thanks for viewing and have a great day!

Wind turbines in Southern California.

A single trail runner faces the wind at McCarty Park

Wind and tide came together this evening to produce some very big waves along the promenade wall at Goodrington, Devon

Inside the Southeast House (Temperate) at Allan Gardens Conservatory, a stone-lined path winds beneath iron and glass, surrounded by palms and dense greenery.

Photography is a little slow here this time of year so I decided to dip into the archives for a trip I took last summer. The first stop was the Wind River Range in Wyoming to do a little backpacking. This is a view of the Wind River Range from the highway near Boulder, Wyoming.

This is my most excellent Day Of The Dead Wind Spinner! It is hanging from the Maple tree in my backyard!

Wind? No more wind! Where is the wind??

The Wind goes to bed like the Sun !!

Es pfeift der Wind. Was pfeift er wohl?

Standing on top of a cliff and shooting the Green Bridge in Wales, reminded me that this is the decade where so many of us finally awoke to realise that climate change is here.

I hope that part of the outcome of the US presidential election will bring a window of opportunity to change matters for the better.

Rejoining the Paris climate accord would be an encouraging first step in the right direction.

Last sunset as the excessive winds developed up to 60 km per hour ( glad it didn’t reach 100 km per hour ). Despite the 30 minutes loss of electricity, and a few trees down, no significant damage to our region. Today sunny and a high of 6C, but still windy 30 to 40 km per hour.
