2nd birthday cupcakes. Zebra cake and wild colorful flowers were requested. I had a lot of fun with this one!
I came across this boar earlier this month, while it wasn't the largest wild boar I've ever seen, never was it the smallest. It only stayed in this spot for a minute or two before disappearing up the hill into the brush.

A great days walk on the Ochil hills, taking in Ben Cleuch and Ben ever, before finishing of with a walk through the woods in Alva.....the sun was out, the birds were singing, the aroma of the wild garlic.....just a perfect day.

Last station is also the last day of their lives.
Certainly a healthy looking specimen of lichen! The windy night brought down a small tree limb midst a stand of wild strawberry plants.
