Widget the wonder dog!

Esse é meu primeiro contato com o KDE4, ele usa um motor diferente da série 3, que é o Plasma, uma espécie de ambiente gráfico com um gestor de Widgets ja acoplado, é bem interessante, ele trabalha com imagens em SVG, esse relógio no meio, é a minha primeira personalização das ferramentas do KDE4.

O KDE 4 ainda não está pronto para mim, pois está com muitos bugsinhos chato, principalmente em aplicativos do Gnome, GTK, e como a grande maioria de aplicativos que eu uso roda sobre essa bibilhoteca, fica inviavel ainda...

Mas promete!!! ;)

It does however, say the picture is by somone called "Boom" so I emailed them and kindly let them know who the picture belongs to. I do not mind on the slightest them using it though.

Here's some more of the costume history widgets. I hadn't realized that I'd made so many, but I'm interested in making even more as there is no shortage of terms.

Building widgets today. In software they can be clunky, unintuitive and hard to use. Not so this Smiths timer I found on desk.

Smiths dials & clocks, speedos (as found in cars) are simple to use, easy to read and durable. Now to try and do this in code.
