When the early morning sun hits the delicate pollen-bearing stamens of an almond blossom, the orchards emit a fragrant aroma of sweetness reminiscent of lily or jasmine.
Just had my dress on for 10 minutes didn't get time to adjust as I had a bride to take care of . Forgot myself as all my attention was on the beautiful bride. Her dress was just amazing. I always feel pictures don't appreciate how beautiful she looked.

When people ask "what is black and white and red all over?" they often are referring to those old riddles about newspapers and embarrassed zebras. In the world of Lepidoptera, however, they can only mean the aptly named Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly. A striking, but common insect species of North America, the zebra swallowtail features a very distinctive bold black and white striped wing pattern highlighted by brilliant red median stripes.
In warmer climates, such as Florida and the Deep South, three broods of zebra swallowtails, scientifically described as Eurytides marcellus, are completed per year. On the northern edge of its range, however, two reproductive cycles are the norm. Adults that emerge during the spring are usually smaller, paler, and have shorter tails than later broods, and summer and autumn cohorts are progressively larger and darker. Yet, no matter what their appearance, zebra swallowtails can be distinguished from other swallowtail butterfly species in flight by their characteristic close-to-the-ground forays, very direct flight paths, and rapid wing beats.
I found this one at Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area, Osceola County, Florida.
When the tide comes in it floods the marine lake the excess is drained off via weirs when the tide goes out. This keeps the water clear and fresh.
When the greenie landed on this dead tree I wasn't happy about what was in the background (a large white building in an industrial complex across the road from Wildwood Park). But when I cropped the image I was rather pleased with how it turned out. It reminds me of a formal portrait. Wildwood Park, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

I have waited and waited. It had rained for months. Every day when I looked out of the window, it was overcast. At times, it rained like cat and dog. At times, it drizzled but it never stopped.
Today when i got up, I couldn't believe my eyes. This day finally arrived - the sunny day. I missed it.

I had a long chat on Zoom the other day with Lady Amanda Barclay, who (as you probably know) is managing The Salon during my prolonged absence.
Lady Amanda told me that they were very busy during the Coronation weekend. Lord Belcher, Lord Bromley, Lord Fanshawe, Lord Quentin Mowbray and Lord Trent were all in a sulk about not having been invited io the Coronation itself. So Lord Belcher organized a lingerie party at The Salon, with all of our regular girls, and a few extra performers thrown in for good measure.
Their Noble Lordships all had a fabulous time with our girls! Around about midnight – when the orgy had reached its peak – Lord Trent was heard to remark: “Where would you all rather be right now, boys? Here, or in Westminster Abbey?”

"...
But when I get to Paris
We'll paint all our portraits
In brush-strokes of yellow
And christen the canvas
The left bank is crying
For colour to crown it
Like the roof of a palace
We'll drink in the amber
When I get to Paris..."

I’m not sure that I’m a 100% happy with this work but then what do I know?. Sometimes the ones that I’m not so sure about are more popular than those that I prefer so I’ll post it anyway. Just a work of a family enjoying the sea.
Trying to do the group shot of 9 kittens was slightly chaotic. They all had there own idea of what to do. The nearest kitten was obviously interested in the cat toy. Quite what the other one is looking at is unclear. May be it was just enjoying the warmth of the studio light.
When I first glimpsed it I thought this Astra looked quite tidy, but it appears to have sat for several years and its last MoT expired in early 2019.

When does New York become everything to you? Is it when you grow up here? When you transition from adolescence to middle age? Is it tied to moments of happiness or heartbreak? Is New York a happy place or a sad one?
When my family moved here on July 7, 1995—almost 30 years ago—people would say that New York is not truly America. But what does that mean? Perhaps it means that it doesn’t impose the pressure of the American Dream on you. It comforts when you feel sad. Even if that dream doesn’t materialize for one reason or another, the city embraces you with its unique blend of light and darkness, almost as if it were whispering in the wind, “I am your true love, and you are mine. Let’s dream together in the fog of the unknown.”
When you look closely, this 500C is unusual. It has a rear boot lid, where others don't. The steering wheels is on the right side. And the headlights are bigger than usual. All these changes have to do with the special history of this car: The owner told me it is a former taxi from Ceylon (Sri Lanka).

When we got to the end of the Dale had to stop and look back. The route now went through bluebell covered woodland until ahead we spotted the church on the outskirts of Barbon itself.
Here’s another view happened to catch my eye when I was driving in backroads in Slidell earlier.
