I avoided any curves when building the Federations latest interceptor to give it a sharp edged, aggressive feel.

No curves except this excellent new canopy in trans yellow that is. For this we have @pixarslightyear and Angus MacLane to thank for.

Quand la Loire apparait comme un ruban d'argent

When he stepped into the light I made this nice buck portrait.

The hare adopted this watchful stance when I appeared near him. As soon as I was within its flight distance, it ran a few meters further again. The whole thing was repeated several times over a distance of 1 kilometer.

I have posted a photo of some fruit entitled "From Nature" a very short time ago. This photo is of the same kind of fruit after it went dry.

Wood storks walk about with their beak submerged, doing a leg to disturb insects or fish (up to 6 aches long) or custodians. they send the moment and snap the victim.

“When from our better selves we have too long been parted by the hurrying world, and droop. Sick of its business, of its pleasures tired, how gracious, how benign is solitude.” – William Wordsworth

When you can see something like this, -15ºC isn't a problem.

The first time, you can't close your mouth, it's hypnotic and absolutely incredible.

Sure? Is it real?. Yes, it's real and an unforgettable experience.

When I was a child my favorite escape was listening to music. Journey's Escape album was the first album I bought. Sadly, I no longer have my record collection so I borrowed this from a friend for Macro Monday. HMM

It is harvest time in the wineyard, but it also the moment when the vines are going to get beautifiul autumnal colors.

I wish you a nice Sunday my Flickr friends.

when i saw this prompt, i thought: farmer’s market. i took along my camera, but i felt dis-ease. i didn’t want to interrupt or invade the interactions. i’m uncomfortable taking photographs of strangers or inserting my camera into community events. i wondered if i should “push through” this discomfort, but then i realized, no, i don’t want to. so i’m stretching this particular theme to include the binding and bonding of the natural world. i found this dragonfly on a daisy in my backyard. for a few precious moments, we all bonded.

[29:52, take a photograph that depicts the binding and bonding of people local to you]

When sleep feels impossible, in the middle of the night….thankful to find beauty in the mundane, a way to cope, a reminder that you are growing even while you feel trapped in the darkness.

When weather shows it's extremes this storm surge barrier is created to automatically close to stop high tides from flooding the Dutch lands. During a yearly test run of one of the largest moving structures on earth I visited and offcourse took some pictures!

When I shot this, I assumed that it was a Dandelion, but now I'm not so sure. Apparently there are quite a few plants that look just like a Dandy. I wish I had looked closer at the leaves, to help with the ID, but I was more concerned with just getting it in focus.

with so much rain, these little puffs look like drowned cats now... and most have fallen off...

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

In the land of the pale blue snow,

where it's ninety-nine below,

and the polar bears are roaming o'er the plain,

In the shadow of the Pole

I will clasp her to my soul,

We'll be happy when the ice worms nest again.
