(Wikipedia)
Wait…fee? Whatever. For a small price you too can trudge around the Newton Roundhouse in a half foot of snow. All you have to give up is your nights, weekends, days, months, hours, minutes, years, seconds, and some feeling in your extremities on days like this...but you get to see a neat old Santa Fe engine once in a while wearing paint applied 39 years ago.
Totally worth it.

Is it sad that I really like this song?
I stick to the belief that I was born in the wrong era.
Ugh, I hate music today, haha.
Today I'm going to meet a friend from England, that I only see twice a year.
We're going to watch Alice in Wonderland, cause I still haven't seen it..
Jon took care of the boy and used all the tricks he learned during his journey to smuggle the two of them back to their hometown. It was a long journey, yet with each step towards their families, they felt happier. But as Jon spotted his father he didn't even greet him properly. He shouted excitedly: "Father, father, Abdul..we have to take care...." Suddenly he saw how a tear ran down his father's cheek. "Son, how? Where have you been?", he stammered. Other people at the Marketplace recognised Jon and shouted: "He's back! And the kidnapped boy is with him! Jon is here!"
Jon's father said: "Jon whatever happened: Let's bring the blacksmith's son to his family. They're experiencing the worst time of their lives right now. Let's redeem them."
There are no Options anymore, sorry. There will be one final vignette soon :))
Hope you enjoy :)
(Linked for the frog-peppers, just realized that he used Joker's hair too, great stall!)
Something interesting is going on in the street, so a woman and a little girl watch the performance or whatever it is with keen interest. Candid street photograph. Black and white version.
Whatever you celebrate this season, it is the season of light and hope. I want to thank you for all the time you have spent looking at my images and especially to those of you who always comment and make my day. You do indeed sometimes save my sanity.
I have had a little break. Not quite ready to be fully engaged yet but I hope that inspiration is something that will reappear after Xmas.
Thank you all for all your kindness, it is very much appreciated
He does his part picking up whatever he can to help the environment during his daily before-sunrise stroll around his beachside-home. He stopped by to say hello to me. Lovely man.
This is the seventh year in a row that I have seen him do this.

Ponce de Leon claimed Florida for Spain in 1513. (Christopher Columbus discovered North America in 1492 but actually landed in the Bahamas). Other Spanish explorers later found gold and silver in Mexico and Peru. The treasure was sent back to Spain in ships sailing in the Gulf Stream. Spanish settlements needed to be built in Florida to protect the Spanish Treasure fleets. King Phillip II of Spain sent Pedro Menendez to settle in Florida and drive out French garrisons recently established there. In September 1565, Pedro Menendez with 700 soldiers and colonists landed 'here' and founded St. Augustine making it the oldest continually occupied European settlement in North America ~ Saint Augustine Inlet
Back to work today. It felt so wrong stopping work on the flat and leaving Tim to it! I've really loved working together over the past week and a half, and weirdly enjoyed the work itself too. I did help him move the washing machine into the kitchen before I left this morning - and helped level up the cooker this evening, so I'm not completely out of the game.
Tim did loads more today, securing all the worktops, plumbing in the washing machine and dishwasher, and lots of other bits and pieces. It was lovely to come home this evening and see yet more progress!
Meanwhile, I had a pretty good day at work. Spoke to my Mum on the way in this morning - it's her Birthday, and she'd just disembarked from a mini cruise she's been on with my Uncle Terry for the last few days. Lovely to catch up with her and hear all about it. At lunchtime, I walked down to Liverpool Street and met up with my friend Kelly and her family. They live in New Zealand, but won a Roald Dahl themed trip to London recently. Great to see them, if briefly - and I'll hopefully see them again tomorrow if little Daisy recovers in time from whatever bug she was coming down with today.
Also took delivery today of the new Regina Spektor album - so excited! The train was absolutely rammed on the way home, so I was forced to listen to it instead of trying to find elbow room to read my book. What a shame ;)

So put your hands up high
Now wave them side-to-side
Now when I pull out the nine
You better wave bye
So take a page from my book
Roll it up and get cooked
Watch these ladies get hooked
While all these hatters get shook
We were searching for my cousins tomb when this memorial stone struck my eyes...what great lines...Really touching words by William Edward Aldridge who died in 1938....What was more paining was that it lay somewhere out from its original site...i really wish i knew where it belonged...Wonder he died young or old whatever may his soul Rest in peace

Wait, no. Ah whatever. I still haven't watched the show.
Silk Specter II: Broke down and finally used the Sinestro torso like everybody else.
Nite Owl II: Two capes - wish I had that Solo head with goggles.
Comedian: God damn I love working on American soil.
Ozymandias: The gold is gone in favor of using those sweet sweet arms.
Rorschach: His jacket is janky but that's Walter.
Lemme know what you think, eh?
Storms all around me tonight and the clouds were doing whatever it wanted. Being on the edge of a storm... You just never know what you might see.
I took a similar shot using my iPhone about a week ago. It was a magical shot - I wanted to see if I could replicate it or do better with a Canon 5D mkIII and Tokina 16-28mm lens (which is super sharp!). So I excitedly returned and took a number of photos with similar perspective (with equivalent focal length). I processed the best image (this one) in black and white as it worked better with the contrast compared to colour.
To be honest I think the iPhone version (which is in colour) is better and i'm not sure why. I guess it doesn't matter what camera you use, it's how you use it that matters. I guess it's good to know that something so portable like an iPhone can take such great photos I guess.
I'd be keen to know your thoughts?
Oh and also, the original iPhone version is also my most Favorited shot in my photostream - thanks everyone!

Funny that this shot, which I took at the spur of the moment, immediately after opening my new lens has the most views and the most comments. Thank you to everyone!
