they have to heat the heads up to 400 degrees and then weld in stages to build the valve ports up. Then grind down by hand.

Project 2 Extremes (movement)
Welding using Oxy Acetylene torches in the MSU sculpture building. More pictures to come.
If I can dismangle this, I can move the pipe closer to the wall, so the water outlet would not be in the middle of the floor

Project snow plough...
Finally found a very good use for liveview! Great for safely observing welding!
Unfortunately auto focus really doesn't seem to like the subject much, no idea why... It's not like I pointed it at the sun... Oh actually, yes it is isn't it!
I imagine the act of welding liquifies the layer of zinc/galvanization and the pressure from the arc or welding flame causes spattering, but I don't know.
The plate is embedded in the edge of a load bearing column, the screw-thread side is the inside face of the parking structure's exterior wall.
Features:
DXHT high power series High Frequency Welder is designed specifically for production of big size products, such as air mattress , inflatable toys . We offer the advanced technological custom made tooling to get good quality of welding seam.
DXHT high power series works stable due to the strong cross beam ,upper and lower stiffened plate made by Large machining center, the lower plate of cross beam is made from a big piece steel plate.
Others:
1.Anti-spark protection
When spark occur, the high sensitiveness spark protects electric system, cuts high frequency power immediately to protect tooling and material (our sparking board already updated to 6th edition)
2.Jamming prevention device
100KW High Frequency Welding Machine Equipped with frequency stabilizer and high frequency magnetic leakage suppressor, this device provide leakage of electron magnetic radiation to avoid jamming other electrical instruments such as television and radios etc.
Parts of the welding booths at WCC are made of a light-blocking plastic sheeting. This might be cheaper than metal construction, but the screens will eventually develop holes because of hot welding spatter.
Day 44/365 - Lissa's rose, completed with purple base, green stem & of course a red bulb! Tim, Lissa's husband, decided to create this rose from raw metal for her this Valentine's Day. Stacy & I helped Tim create the rose, but he did nearly all the work -- we were just along for laughs I think. Though most people opt for live flowers on valentine's Day, Lissa will be able to keep this one metal flower for ages & ages to come, without any wilting!
