Penang Port is towards the end of this road. Container ships are now directed to the mainland. Only cruise ships now berthed at Penang Port.
Using a $5.- fixture from my electronics workbench to hold a tab in place for welding to a curved surface. Worked really well.

Mounting pads. Base CNC machined, shafts cleaned up on the lathe in the machine shop, and parts TIG welded together.
Seat pan clamp now replaced with a permanent weld. This makes it feel more sturdy. Also reinforced the head-tube with a wedge just below the down-tube.
Did some amateur spray paint job on it too. Just a rear-view mirroe and it should be ready to go to the open roads now.
My hardware store doesn't carry 5/16 18 TPI thumbscrews, if you can believe it, but they do have threaded rods and wing nuts.
