natural dyeing solo attempt at home! Used weld, which is slated (as somewhat shown) to be a rich yellow colour. I was a bit afraid that the tannin-ed and mordanted cotton wouldn't change from its pink colour to yellow, but after an hour of heating, all seems good. letting it sit overnight... probably not needed? just want to make sure.

Oopsie! While welding the top hinge to the back of the upper seat frame brace I neglected to drill a vent hole in the sealed brace tube. Expansion of trapped air caused a blowout while I was welding on the hinge. I'm going to leave it there to remind me not to make the same mistake again!
