New arrival this past week. For the price it's very well made with two sliding drawers. I just wanted something simple to house my welder, tank, gloves, mask etc. I'm happy with this piece of kit from Northern Industrial.

Ellen McGlynn and Caitlin Graboski learn to Arc Weld and cut steel with the Oxy-Acetylene torch. Ellen made an awesome flower pot and E for Ellen, and Caitlin made a beautiful tree.
3g mig welding test. its upsided down since this was done uphill. A common mig welding test is 3/8" plate A36 carbon steel with a 37.5 degree bevel. open butt root, done downhill, fill is done uphill.
3 passes total.
This was a pull test we set up to test the yield strengh of 4 x 10mm carbon studs welded by friction with the R1004 portable weld head onto 1" thick plate. during the demo we had 300bar(9ton) pull on these 4 small studs. after everyone went home we tested it to destruction (what fun) After standing well back we had them up to equiv of 13.5 tonnes, then one stretched and snapped, one stripped the threads on the stud, and the other two just stretched, All welds where still complete showing the weld was stronger than the studs!!!!! beyond predictions.
