This week's photo is so late :(
I wiped Lin's faceup when I was giving Knox her bath, I was waiting until she had a new faceup to take the photo, but I've been too busy to do it.
I also haven't had time to work on Nattie's wig... why, why can't there be 6 more hours in every day?...
Sustainability Week is a Switzerland-wide initiative, which is the brainchild of VSFN, the Swiss Association of Student Organizations for Sustainability. In joining VSFN, Les Roches has scored a number of firsts: it is the first private school, the first hospitality school and the first school in Valais to become part of this fast-growing movement.
“This is our first Sustainability Week and our goal is to raise students’ awareness of the need to behave more responsibly towards our environment,” Says Paulo Macarrao, Sustainability Officer at Les Roches.
Valais Sustainability Week included a clothes swap, lectures, panel discussions and workshops with guest speakers such as Katie Jepson, from the UK’s National Union of Students, and Johannah Bernstein, who has advised national governments, international NGOs, and UN organizations on a wide range of global sustainability issues within the United Nations system of multilateral diplomacy.

I'm a little behind on my pictures and it's only week 4! I took this cos it was such a sunny, beautiful day outside and the lighting was amazing! I was, as ever, stuck in my room working on Lucretius or something as equally exciting. This is why I love my photography because it actually provides such a break from my studies. As much as I love them, my creative side gets fustrated!
I wanted to take a fairly natural photo of me and this lighting was perfect. I haven't edited it or anything! This is me at 21 (tho all my mates say I still look about 15 - thanks guys!)
For this weeks shoot, the theme was floral and the girls had free will to interpret that how they wanted. Leave your callout!

Ahh...it's Christmas already! Time has flown by! My family won't be coming in till Jan 1st to celebrate Christmas. I'm super excited to see my nephews again!
I set up a small little studio with a lamp, foam craft board, and rain umbrella to shoot this. :)
A size comparison of the bins and the truck. These bins are actually on the small side in terms of storage capacity compared to mose co-ops that I unloaded at.
I had to resubmit my photo for this week because this one is sooo much better;) So I hope it's ok to submit 2;)
Like I said I am at home visiting family right now.
Something very unique about my family is that we have 5 generations alive right now.
My daughter, me, my mom, my grandmother, and my great grandmother.
We have a 5 generations picture of our faces already but I really wanted one of our hands. So I convinced them to be hand models;) I just wanted to show the different stages in life and the legacy that the woman in my family are making. Although our hands aren't perfect and show the weathering of life it's is an amazing thing to see the experiences show in our hands. 5 Generations of Love stitched together in family ties;)
1. Some punchy fun. Just goofin' around with some new Scrabble Tile Knuckle rings. "HAWT DAWG".
2. Cooked up a big feast for my once-a-month dinners I host & cook for a local Teen Challenge group.
3. Baked up some yummy Dreamy Lemon Bars.
4. Ok, so I made them twice during the week. I couldn't get enough of them!
5. Got to work on some new stuff! Ink & marker doodles made into 1" magnets! Whee!
6. Owlies that will soon be pencil toppers/cupcake picks!
7. A mini sweet feast.
8. Dad's birthday was on the 4th! Happy Birthday Pops!
9. So tired from all the late nights of craftin' & custom orders.

I'm kind of pushing the limits of the whole self-portrait thing this week but I can't be too picky. I need more photos. This was taken at my friends new apartment. I stopped by to take a look at the place (which is amazing) and had a little wine too. The best part of the apartment is the view.
i cant be the only person to smudge my eye make up all over my face just before washing off at night can i?! hmmm... unfortunately tonight it got in my eye :o(
Day 6 - Atop Mt. Kancamagus! Damn it was cold up there. Only to be caught in a heavy rain coming down to the other end (Conway). By the time I found cover to get my rain gear, it was too late. Soaked and frozen, I would still call it one of the best rides yet! Play your cards right and I'll take you along next time! ;)
