I liked this picture because the kids I was photographing were giving me Sally Mann vibes. I also was impressed by how the shallow depth of field worked out here - the smiling girl is out of focus, while the mischievous one is in perfect focus. It reminds me of that Weegee photo where the rich ladies are smiling, but the real subject of the photo is the woman on the right who is glaring at them. I enjoy how the shallow depth of field affords this creative composition where the subject matter can be so diverted.
