I recreated some of Weegee's photographs for my photography class in 2005. I'm going to redo this one sometime, 'cause it was my favourite out of all of them, but it wasn't all that good.

 

Old WCS mark. Whenever I get my computer back I'll fix the mark to the one that's on all my other pictures.

Self-portrait, Multiple Image, about 1965

 

During his later career, Weegee used prisms and multiple exposures to experiment with 'distortions'. In this intense self-portrait, the camera conceals the photographer's right eye, but his repeated left eye and the camera's lens confront the viewer. The Nikon camera in his hands was a recent model.
