This series influenced by Bruce Gilden and Weegee combined suprise flash photography with late night hours.
The current mostly black and white photo show at the BMA had a closing party on Friday which I was glad to make it to since I missed the opening party. Robert Frank, Weegee, Edward Weston and Tina Modotti were among the photographers that were represented in this excellent show

This is Don, Julia, and others in the Mermaid Parade with Patrick. Unfortunately, Patrick had stepped away and isn't in the picture. We have the pic framed in our house. It's a limited edition from the artist...blah blah blah thing.
