Statue of 7th Duke of Devonshire
William Cavendish, 7th Duke of Devonshire was instrumental in Eastbourne's Victorian development, and his monument (erected in 1901 to the design of Goscombe John "ought to be observed" according to Pevsner. The duke, who was the Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, wears his robes of office and is seated on a chair. The bronze statue is on an ashlar base.

The Seventh Duke of Devonshire, by William Goscombe John.
The 7th Duke of Devonshire, situated in Devonshire Place, where it meets Grand Parade. It is the work of the prolific sculptor William Goscombe John (1860-1952), and was unveiled in 1901. The Duke is shown seated, wearing the robe of the Chancellor of Cambridge University. A characterful portrait, heavy, a bit careworn, bushy in the eyebrow and with the enlarged ears of age, this is one of Goscombe John's best portraits, to my eye.

Do you know what 37.7787, -122.3896 means? Your users don't either, but SimpleGeo Context does - it's AT&T Park where the SF Giants play in San Francisco, CA.
This simple API is the easiest way to obtain meaningful information such as real-time weather, population density, and geographic features from a latitude/longitude in a single call.
This is the frontpage of a design I did for a diverse company out of Dallas, Ga. called Ericsons. Ericsons is an environmental engineering company dealing with composting technologies. I worked with them during my time in school doing graphics, marketing booklets and material, and designing their website www.eric-sons.com .
the page has not been maintained since I last did work on it some 5 years ago but is still up and running as it was during that time.
