I love this. We're editing a document together on Google Docs. We can both change the doc while we work together. This is collaboration at its best. What are we editing? A script for WorkFast.tv -- a new show on www.fastcompany.tv

My mugrug swappee, do you like this? (Excuse the bits of thread, funny how we don't see them until we edit the pics!) You like brights.

And I won't cry if you don't like my hand-dyed fabric dyed by my very own hands because I like it and will keep it for me :-)

Blinking LED Chandelier.

For this Hugo Boss January 2009 clubroom installation, Geoff Howell Studio created large curved walls that served as movie screens for video loops that we edited and carefully masked to perfectly match the curvature of those walls. In addition, we also built the large sculptural chrome tubed light fixtures, fitted with LEDS and flashing strobes, hung over a series of custom platforms that feauture an optical illusion of infinite depth. The video projections were distortions of a muscular dancing man. All of these elements combined gave the impression of a futuristic dream state where bodies and lights constantly warp and change form.

This is the edited version of Jeff Taylor's album cover for "Frustration In Time Travel".

Using a process we learned from our homie Busylittle1way on instagram, We sliced the original image into 9 different images.

Then, we edited each image with an iPhone app called Decim8, glitching them out to hell and back.

After that, we re assembled them into what you see here... to compliment the fractured, insistent instrumental track that Jeff gave us for this project.

Talking with a good friend of mine (Justin), who happens to be a graphic designer turned photographer, brought up a great point. From that background (myself included as a hobbyist, however he did it professionally) there is a constant struggle between how we take pictures and just how much we edit in photoshop. When we first got into photography we wanted to stray away from photoshop all together. But as we mature as photographers, we realize that the most important part of taking a picture is composition, lighting and timing; but also realized that cutting photoshop completely limits your creativity. This isn't really an image I'm proud of exactly- but a marriage between the two, can develop your individuality as an artist...

This is an example of the motion graphic video our student was able to do within 2 months into the course. All the graphic artwork was first created in Illustrator and then it was animated in after effects.

(note: as we editing through my guatemala photos, many of the photos i took of david seemed to be a bit strange. we half-jokingly said it looked like he was going insane photo by photo. so this is that edit. all tongue in cheek. this edit neither confirms nor denies mr. banks' sanity or lack thereof.)

First I have to excuse myself!

Uploading the Moc, which I actually promised to upload some days ago, wasn’t possible for me because I’ve had some problems with a stupid virus. But now I’ve fixed everything and now I am able to upload more again! ^^

But here it comes!

------------------------------------------------------

Finally we arrived at a nice place where we can stay over our first night. - a cave at a small clearance. It was a very stormy night that’s why we edited the cave a bit and clamped a net before it and on that we’ve put some huge leaves. While some of our corps were sleeping Sonoc , Buffle and me were guarding our place. That night was so long for me, so I wasn’t able to sleep any minute! And I’ve always had the feeling we were being watched!...

------------------------------------------------------

Sooooo please tell me what you think about it in the comments :D

I fell in love with the sky and the weather more than the buildings in New York. The weather was lovely! Most New Yorkers said that the weather was usually hot at this time of the year, lucky we!

Edits: I cut the left side of the photo. the colors are the same.

...probably the worst I've had in a long time. Have you ever felt like you've been punched in the stomach and can't catch your breath, no matter how hard you try?

This is me-no makeup, puffy and messy. Not pretty, but this is life. I think most of us try to forget days like this, hoping no one will notice that we're a complete mess. We edit, omit or delete those pictures that document our vulnerability; our imperfections, as we see them. We say that we're "fine" and force a smile when asked how we are. I'm very guilty of this, but not today. Right now, I'm screwed up and my heart is broken. This is what I look like when I cry. There, I said it....I cry. But we all do, right? Today may not be your turn for a bad day or a broken heart, but when it is, try to remember this picture. Maybe you'll take one of your own.....

This is Mick McElwee of the MPI Resolution, who is untrustworthy. He even had an affair with a Danish girl on the ship. Yeah, on the ship!! I would go past her cabin and he would be besoted with her and they were listening to James Blunt, of all people. Crap love songs like a silly school boy, while his wife was at home, no doubt looking after the children thinking her husband was working hard to earn a living for his "family".

We thought he was a friend, but he's just too selfish (or too stupid). He was sent a text, private and he went and showed it to the bosses. For all I know we edited it, he probably did and then a good hard worker got sacked because of him. He used to take thousands of cigarettes home with him. Yes, he's also a smuggler. How I wish he was caught with the 25,000 cigarettes he had. But this good man covered for him and was ready to take partial blame, but he went and practically grassed on him so he lost his job.

People who know him will think he's a decent chap, but he is fooling them. He no longer fools me and I don't see why he should have a happy peacefull life so I've decided to reming the people of Teesside who might know him that he has been unfaithfull to his wife and family and he could well and truely do it again

Our original plan for dinner was blown way because of poor planning and budgetting.

Since we are restricted to $1.75 per person per day (that's $3.50 together) we didn't have enough in our daily food budget to eat our planned dinner.

We only had $1.41 left... so we edited it down. way down.

We are doing the Live Below The Line challenge - living with a food and drink budget of $1.75 per day each. For 5 days that's $8.75 per person and a total of $17.50.

A SHORT SERIES OF 16 PHOTOS, entitled "On-The-Road"

FEATURING THE FINEST WORK OF MY DELIGHTFUL PARTNER

GLADYS AMBA . . . who captured all these images from her seat on the long-distance coach . . .

which explains the slight camera-shake on a few pictures !!

We edited her photos in 'Picasa' -- on my computer, when Gladys visited the bungalow last Wednesday . . .

Von der Decken's Sifaka (Propithecus deckenii).

We saw this Sifaka hopping through the trees in the Petit Tsingy area of Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park near Bekopaka.

In this video, we edited a two minute video down to just when he was hopping through the trees.

This is photo one of a new series I shot today. It's Alice in Wonderland themed and I am so, so pleased with how everything turned out.

This is my dear friend, Kenny. He was kind enough to be my muse and we worked off of one anothers' ideas and concepts making it a wonderful shoot. He put together the wardrobe of each character which really brought everything to the next level.

He will also be editing the shots in his own way and I will be posting his in the comments. I am curious to see how differently we edit this series.

we edited the bing logo for our search button so that it would match our color scheme, black & sexy at HEMA, The Hookers, Escorts & Masseurs Association

Took some shots of my friend Alissa (Center Point Photography centerpointphotography.blogspot.com/) for her 20-weeks-pregnant mark. It was interesting to use my DSLR (not to mention her pro Nikon!) again after about a month of it sitting on the shelf. Shot in RAW for the first time, and we edited in Aperture.

bought some brandnew coloured pencils for my job... kids will be happy with them!! :o))) so many different kids from so many different countries this year ;o) they come from russia, croatia, chechnia, serbia, croatia, latin america, egypt, poland, romania, ... looking forward to work with them! :o))

my son jacob also took pictures of this pencils... he photographed on his own and together we edited... if you like - take a look here

this CD contains some photos and some pictures.

the photos are by jonny & colin.

the ones with an SK in the filename are by steve keros.

the pictures are by donwood & tchock.

all of them were taken/made during the making of this record.

here are a few suggestions of what to do with them:

1. use them as a screensaver.

2. make a slideshow of the photos or pictures. play the record at the

same time. ?.

3. print them out massive, frame them and hang them above your bed.

4. admire the dynamic artistes at work, as they plunge flailing into

middle age.

5. attempt to trace the arguably bizarre trajectory of donwood and

tchock as they begin by doing urban landscapes and end up with work

that even they cannot describe.

6. adapt or alter to your liking. it's extraordinary what you can do

with photoshop. or even scissors and glue.

7. turn an old tshirt inside-out. print something out on that iron-on

transfer stuff and stick it on the tshirt.

8. actually thinking about it, just type 'inkjet media' into a search

engine and see what the possibilities are.

9. for instance, you can print onto thin magnetic sheet and then stick

it onto a vehicle or a fridge or something.

10. try to work out which photos we edited out, and why.

bye

1) We took our tree down. Sadness. But I got some cool pictures of the ornaments before it came down. BOOOKKEEEHHHHHHHHH. <3

2) My favorite (normal) picture from the stunning sunset today.

3) Peace out. For you my Pj. ;)

4) Harv jumping from my parent's balcony onto the tramp. We had fun with those pictures.

HALFLIFE, 2014

Shasti O'Leary-Soudant - Buffalo, USA

Performance Art

In a narrative worthy of sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick, Shasti O'Leary-Soudant creates a theatre of spectacle based on the notion of contagion. The artist empowers one hundred glowing ”carriers” to disperse throughout the city and “test” willing participants for the HALFLIFE "virus" with invisible UV reactive ink markers, peaking in a mass convergence on the Square.

HALFLIFE comments on the presence of fear in society around apocalyptic events, but also on human connection, in both desired and inescapable forms.

Shasti O’Leary-Soudant is a multimedia artist, designer and writer. She has one child, one spouse, one house, one incorporated business and no pets. In her art practice, she uses a wide range of media and material to talk about hidden forces, immersive experiences, transformation, vanity, sexuality and the ways in which we edit the self in reaction to culture, politics and emotion. She has travelled extensively, exhibited internationally, speaks fluent second grade French, and lives, works and teaches in Buffalo, NY.

Looking back through some old images, finding some I missed the first time around. When we edit our work, we never see all of it. What we see is always heavily influence by our current state of mind, our mood, etc. Some of our best work may remain forever undiscovered, buried in the archives because we didn't see it originally and never went back to look again.

While I don't miss most things about Texas or living there, I definitely miss my friends there. Truly great friends aren't as plentiful in life as we would like to think, and when you wander to the other side of the globe, you definitely notice the absence of those good people you left behind. I am fortunate to have some good friends here as well.

Seen through my window

Taking this series has made me consider how much we edit and why we edit things. Most of Friday the sky was like this: really, really boring. The clip I showed before for Friday was comparatively dramatic.

If the videos were shot all at exactly the same time of day it would remove much of the personal judgement, but then most of them would not be worth posting. But life is mundane, and for me this video clip is just long enough to induce that sense in the viewer.

I left the birds in partly to answer the question "Is this video working?" and partly because if it was totally blank why show a video, rather than a photograph?

Are you looking for residential or commercial aerial photography Virginia services? We provide both! Your listing will have the perfect gallery showcasing the highlights. After the photos are taken, we edit them in the post-processing phase. We can modify and remove imperfections, edit in better lighting for exterior photos, and create ambiance with the right edits to lighting.

I've been going through some images I took last year, and just never got around to posting. I thought I'd share a few, this one is of a thistle, and I had some fun playing with editing. I couldn't decide what I liked best, so I'm posting all of them : )

I always have that problem! I think when we edit, it changes the image to a new image....one we like as well as the old. The more we edit, the more images we have to choose from. I wonder if all of you experience the same feeling?

Armed Forces Day 2015. They say the camera never lies, but of course the images we create are a complete construct - we chose where to point the lens, we chose the time of day and the light carefully, we edit the subject matter leaving out stuff which annoys us. I love living in Brighton but every now and then you are confronted with a sight which reminds you of the darker side. It makes you wonder what the rest of the world thinks we are defending. How quickly we can become a nation of stupid selfish slaves. Who wants to defend that?

Today was our last day with RAs. So after a long 2 days of working, we had a final dinner with the group. It was a nice way to end a stressful week. We had Olive Garden and Amy spoke for a little bit. Then the RDs sang our version of "So Long, Farewell" from The Sound of Music. We edited it a little bit to fit with Messiah and the RAs. They loved it and cheered, clapped and laughed the whole way through. And in an effort to look ridiculous with college students for one last time, I wore my 8th grade graduation dress. And I was definitely ridiculous looking. : )

A time lapse project of a custom home built by Weaver Homes – a division of Weaver Companies, Inc. Original footage was captured at 1 photo every 30 seconds over a 6 month period resulting in 45 days of capture and over 70,000 photos. Images we edited in Adobe Lightroom 3, combined in Quicktime Pro at 30 frames/sec and compiled in iMovie 11. Most clips were then sped up by 200-400% to produce this short movie. Enjoy!

A film made for the Corpus Christi Seven Day Film Project. This is the 2nd year for us to be a part of the CC7D project. We had a lot of fun making this video. We shot with a Sony FX1000, in 24p. If we had to do it over again we might have shot in SD from the start since that is the format we had to turn in on.

All the shooting was done in a law office in Corpus Christi. We edited using Sony Vegas Pro V8, at Big Box Pro Video Productions.
