This caboose is based at Manitowoc, WI and used for shoves on what's left of the old CNW Shoreline sub. To the north is Rockwood and south to Newton. My shadow soon headed home.

WC 586 1-1991 Wauwatosa WI #47 All I remember it was Cold!!!!

WC units depart from Cutoff at Milwaukee heading back to their train at Duplainville on a cold Feb day.

What back when, I caught an inbound freight train from Wausau behind (2) SD45's and (2) GP40's. It's funny, I just never got tired of the SD45's. They looked bad-ass and sounded even better. WC crews really liked to wind them up. Sigh, too bad those days are gone.

They can wave hello with there lids like we do with our hands!
