WC 3018 switches near O'Hare, as an airliner is cleared for landing overhead. I talked to the engineer of the 3018 about his loco being one of the last WC's left running and he didn't seem to pay any mind. Just another damn locomotive on the job.
CN 3069 leads Z149 across the Humber about to complete its trip from Montreal 3 miles away from BIT yard.
This one still had its nameplate!. Pretty clean too - Mod. WC 34208 Wincanton (Salisbury shed) passes light engine near Woking. 1/4/67.
At some point, I took this shot of a WC train but don't know where. I'm "thinking" it was a southbound just south of Neenah, Wi as I have foggy memories of an FRVR geep working nearby. Just another reminder to label your shots.
Yard slave, 1564 is sent out along with GP7 1508 to rescue a train that has stalled on Medina hill west of Neenah. All the grain loads were just too much for the other two Geeps (1507 & 1506). This is one of the times where I wished I had a camcorder with me as these just screamed by me. It is wierd seeing an SW1500 lead a train. The two leaders stayed with the train to Winnebago where a unit was left by an eastbound that was ahead of this guy.

Big thanks to Kevin Sadowski for his lighting and the many people at IRM that worked hard to make this happen.
Pêro Pinheiro, Sintra, near Lisbon

A westbound local bound for Hillburn departs Waldwick and swiftly makes its way passing by WC Tower with GP40PH-2B #4213 at the helm.
